The heat from the fire behind them was unbearable, its roaring flames casting eerie shadows across the room. The stench of burning flesh and smoke mixed with the metallic tang of blood on her body.

Nari trembled violently on Jungkook's lap, her breaths uneven as tears threatened to spill down her cheeks. She couldn't tell if it was fear, disgust, or the twisted cocktail of emotions his presence always seemed to invoke.

And there he sat, calm as if this was just another day, his arms wrapped around her as though they were lovers lost in an embrace. His lips grazed her neck, planting slow, deliberate kisses that made her flinch and her stomach churn.

"J-Jungkook...it-it's burning," she stammered, her voice shaky and barely audible.

He chuckled low in his throat, a sound that sent a shiver down her spine. Without missing a beat, he grabbed her hand and pressed it flat against his chest, his tone dropping to a dangerous whisper.

"You see that burning, but what about this, babe?" he murmured, his voice dripping with desperation as he guided her palm over his racing heart. "What about my heart that was burning without you? The flames I felt when I thought someone else was touching what's mine?"

Her lips quivered, her mind spinning as his words penetrated the haze of fear and confusion.

He exhaled sharply, shaking his head as a dark chuckle escaped his lips. "Tsk tsk...never mind," he said with mock indifference, though his grip on her hand tightened as though he'd never let her go again.

His other hand trailed up her spine, his fingers curling into her hair as he pulled her closer. The fire roared louder, and so did the storm outside, but all she could hear was his voice, low and dangerous in her ear.

"You're trembling so much, little flower. Is it fear? Or is it the way I make you feel? Tell me..." His lips brushed against her ear, his breath hot and possessive. "Did you miss me, Nari? Did you miss the way I ruin you? Or are you shaking because you know you can't escape me?"

She opened her mouth to protest, but the words stuck in her throat as he tilted her chin up, forcing her teary gaze to meet his.

"You were made for me," he said softly, almost lovingly, though his eyes burned with an obsessive fire that made her heart pound with terror. "Every breath you take, every time your heart beats-it's because I allow it. Don't forget that."

He paused, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as his fingers caressed her cheek, smearing the blood that stained her skin. His voice softened, but the menace in his tone was unmistakable.

"You can try to run, little flower, but the world outside this fire? It's colder. Darker. Deadlier than me. And no one will love you like I do."

His lips ghosted over hers, his grip firm as he held her trembling body against his. "You're mine, Nari," he whispered, his tone dangerously intimate. "Now and forever."

Jungkook's lips crashed onto hers with a bruising force, his kiss filled with desperation and raw intensity. Nari whimpered against him, her trembling hands clinging to his shirt, unsure whether she wanted to push him away or hold on for dear life.

His hands roamed possessively, one gripping her waist while the other tangled in her hair, keeping her firmly in place. Between heated kisses, he pulled back just enough to breathe, his eyes dark and clouded with unspoken emotions.

"Do you have any idea what you've done to me?" he murmured, his voice low and rasping.

"I've been starving, Nari. Starving for the way you taste, the way you look at me... the way you fit in my arms like you were born to be here."
