Jungkook's POV
After telling Suga what had happened—that I’m now a married man, tied to Jimin—my chest felt heavy with guilt. My friends all knew now too. Suga just looked at me with a mix of emotions—pain, pity, and something else I couldn’t place.
I sighed, rubbing my swollen eyes. “Hyung, I don’t know what to do anymore. How am I supposed to tell Ava? I can’t… I don’t want to break her heart.”
Suga looked at me sympathetically, his hand resting on my shoulder. “Jungkook, you did what you had to. It wasn’t your choice; it was your family’s. You had no control over this situation, especially when it involves family obligations. As much as it hurts, you need to tell the truth. Both Ava and Jimin deserve to know where your heart truly lies. You need to try to start a life with Jimin.”
“But hyung, I don’t love him like that! Everyone keeps saying I’ll come to love him as a husband, but… I don’t feel that way. How can I force something that isn’t there?” Frustration seeped into my voice as I spoke.
Suga’s eyes softened, his tone serious but kind. “You don’t know that, Jungkook. Feelings change. Today, you might not feel anything, but tomorrow, who knows? Love grows in unexpected places, sometimes slowly. At least… try. For Jimin's sake, and for yours.”
I didn’t respond. I just nodded, too drained to say anything more. Every emotion felt like it was tearing me apart.

The rest of the day, I sat in my office, unable to focus on work, unable to even step outside for a break. My mind was consumed by thoughts of Ava—her reaction, her hurt, her inevitable heartbreak when she learned the truth. I imagined every possible scenario, each one worse than the last. The hours passed unnoticed until Suga reminded me that the workday was over.
Suddenly, my heart began to race. Panic gripped me, suffocating. The thought of facing Ava filled me with dread. I didn’t want to see the pain in her eyes.
“Breathe, Jungkook,” Suga said, rushing to my side when he saw how hard I was struggling to control my breath. I tried to calm down, but the tension still clung to me, relentless.
“You have to do this, Jungkook. It’s for everyone’s sake.” Suga’s voice was firm, but all I could hear was my own fear, pounding in my head.
But I knew I had to do it. Ava deserved the truth. I couldn’t keep lying to her. I took a deep breath and stood up, determined. “Hyung, I’m going to see Ava.” My voice wavered, but Suga could see the seriousness in my eyes.
He gave me a small smile, patting my shoulder. “You can do it, Jungkook.”
I nodded, leaving the office, my heart pounding as I prepared to face the consequences of my actions.

Suga's POV
I watched Jungkook leave the office, his steps heavy as he went to confront Ava. His news about the marriage had shaken me to my core. I didn’t even know how to process it. We’ve been best friends since school, both sharing a love for IT. And I always knew Jungkook was a family man—his loyalty to them came first. So, when he told me he married Jimin for his family’s sake, it didn’t completely shock me.
But still… him marrying Jimin was something I hadn’t expected. Jungkook always talked about Jimin—how much he cared for him, how deeply protective he was. Even my husband, Hobi, knew about Jimin through Jungkook’s stories. But now, seeing Jimin as his spouse… It was a reality I hadn’t prepared for.
