Suga's POV

As I stood in my kitchen, the comforting aroma of dinner filled the air. I was preparing meals for me and my husband, who was usually home late due to his demanding job as a doctor. Today, however, I felt a nagging concern creeping into my mind. Jungkook. I hoped everything gone well with Ava.

I glanced at the clock on the wall. 9 PM. Should I call Jungkook? The unease in my stomach made the decision for me. I picked up my phone and dialed his number, but it went straight to voicemail. I tried again, my heart racing with each unanswered ring. Maybe he’s busy with Jimin, I thought, desperately trying to shake off the worry that was beginning to consume me.

After finishing my dinner alone, I settled onto the couch, the weight of loneliness pressing down on me. My husband wouldn’t be home until after midnight, and I struggled to stay awake as sleep began to pull me under. Suddenly, my phone rang, jolting me from my drowsiness. I groggily picked it up, expecting my husband, only to see Jungkook's name flashing on the screen. Relief washed over me, but it was fleeting.

“Hey, JK?” I answered, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

“Hello, sir! I’m Reno from Moonlit Bar, and the owner of this phone has been drinking for hours. Can you come and pick him up?” The bartender’s voice was loud and slurred, the urgency making my heart race.

“Can you please share the location with me?” I asked, feeling a sinking feeling in my stomach.

“Yes, sir! In a moment,” he replied before hanging up. Within moments, I had the address. I quickly got dressed and headed out, the weight of concern heavy on my shoulders. Jungkook, what the hell are you doing?

When I arrived, I spotted Jungkook arguing with the bartender, his posture slumped and his face flushed.

“Jungkook! Get up; let’s go home!” I called out, my voice laced with frustration.

“Noooo!” he whined, his voice carrying over the bar’s chatter. He continued to plead for another drink, his stubbornness only adding to my worry.

“Jungkook-ah, you’re very drunk! It’s enough for today! Come on, let’s go home!” I coaxed, trying to reach him through the haze of alcohol.

“No, hyung! I deserve to die here! I cheated on Ava by marrying Jimin. I’m cheating on Jimin by still being in love with Ava even though we broke up! I’m such a cheater, hyung! I’m a bad person!” Jungkook’s voice broke, and tears streamed down his cheeks.

My heart ached for him as I pulled him into an embrace, trying to offer some comfort. Eventually, his sobs quieted, and he fell asleep against me, his breathing steadying.

With a heavy sigh, I realized I couldn’t leave him in this state. And then it hit me-Jimin! He was alone, waiting for Jungkook at their apartment. Oh, God, Jimin doesn't know about this.

Frantically, I fished my phone from my pocket and called Hobi. He answered in his usual sweet tone, assuming I was calling about something minor.

"Hey, babe! I'm on my way home. Don't worry, go back to sleep-"

“Baby! Please go to Jungkook’s place fast!”

“Jungkook’s place? Why?” Hobi’s confusion was palpable through the phone.

“Jimin is there alone, and Jungkook is drunk here!”

“Jimin! As in Park Jimin?” Hobi exclaimed, disbelief evident in his voice.

“More like Jeon Jimin!” I murmured, frustration creeping in.

“What?” Hobi asked, clearly annoyed.
