Jimin's POV
"Jimin-ah, wake up!" I was pulled from sleep by Jungkook hyung gently shaking my shoulder. Groaning, I sat up and rubbed my eyes. It's been two months since I started college, and surprisingly, I've adjusted to the early mornings. Two months of being friends with Taehyung, and he's one of the best things that's happened to me! Every day feels brighter with him around, making me excited to go to college. But today is different. Today, I feel... off.
"Hyungggg! I don't want to go today," I whined, noting how Jungkookie was already dressed in his sharp office attire. He looked at me, surprised and a little amused since I've never turned down college before.
"Not feeling well?" he asked, sounding concerned as he touched my forehead to check for a fever. "No fever, but if you're feeling unwell, you should stay home today." He ruffled my hair gently, and I smiled, leaning into his touch. Today, I just wanted to cling to him.
"Hyung, don't go," I mumbled, wrapping my arms around him.
"Ah, I can't do that, Jimin-ah! I have to go to work if I want to keep spoiling you with all that food," he teased, giving me a little squeeze before pulling back. "But if you start feeling worse, call me, okay? I'll come back right away."
His warmth and care made my heart swell. I'm truly lucky to have him as my husband. He made me sit up and reminded me, "If you want to sleep more, go ahead. I made breakfast, and it's on the table. If you need anything, you can order it. Take it easy, alright?"
I playfully rolled my eyes. "Okay, eomma!"He gives me a mock glare, rolling his eyes at my antics, but the corners of his lips tug upward in a smile.
"Yah, you little brat," he teases, and I can't help but laugh as he heads for the door. After a quick hug goodbye, I found myself alone in our cozy home. I decided to sleep a little more, but before that, I grabbed my phone and texted Taehyung, letting him know I wouldn't be going to college today. Once that was done, I snuggled back under the covers and quickly drifted off again.
---------
I was woken up later by my phone buzzing. Groggily, I answered, "Hello?"
"Yah, Park Jimin! Why aren't you coming to college today?" Taehyung's familiar voice pulled me fully awake.
"I don't feel well, Tae. Just need a day to rest, I think," I replied, still lying in bed.
"What happened, Jiminie? You were fine over the weekend," he asked, sounding genuinely worried.
"I don't know, Tae. I just feel like staying in and maybe cuddling with someone," I said, curling up with one of Jungkook's pillows.
There was a brief silence before he responded, "Send me your address. I'm coming over."
My heart skips at his sudden declaration. Taehyung still doesn't know I'm married, and if he comes over, he might find out about Jungkook. Part of me panics at the thought, but another part knows I can't keep this secret from him forever. He's my soulmate, my confidant - he deserves to know the truth.
"Alright... but aren't you supposed to be in college?" I ask, trying to mask my anxiety.
"Not if my Jiminie isn't there!" He says it in his typical, overdramatic way, but I can hear the sincerity in his voice. "Now, quickly send me your location. And do you need anything?"
I send him the address, reassuring him that I have everything I need. After hanging up, I stand up, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. Today, I'll tell him everything about Jungkook hyung. Part of me is nervous, but I trust Taehyung to understand. I freshen up, have my breakfast jungkook hyung made, and wait for him.
