Jimin's POV
My first day in college turned out far better than I could have imagined. Honestly, I expected it to be nerve-wracking, but thanks to Taehyung, it became one of the best days ever. I've had friends back in Korea, but with Tae... it's different. There's this instant, effortless connection between us, one that feels like we've known each other forever. His carefree, goofy personality makes it so easy to be around him, and by the end of the day, he was already calling me his soulmate.
It's strange how quickly we bonded, but I couldn't be happier.
The whole day was filled with laughter and fun moments, so much so that I didn't even notice time flying by. Before I knew it, our classes had ended. As we walked towards the entrance of the college, Tae nudged me playfully.
"How are you getting home, soulmate?" he asked with that signature mischievous grin.
"Umm... my... boyfriend is picking me up," I stuttered, feeling a bit nervous about the lie slipping from my mouth. I can't tell him I'm married yet-it's too soon. But I also can't say I'm single when I'm not. So, for now, 'boyfriend' feels like a safer word.
"YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?!" Tae's voice shot up dramatically, making a few heads turn. He gasped theatrically, placing a hand over his heart. "Here I was, ready to sacrifice my straightness for you, and you break my heart like this?!"
I burst out laughing, his over-the-top reaction instantly easing my nerves. Tae really is something else-a natural drama queen.
Just as I was about to respond, a loud car horn startled both of us. We turned to see a tall, handsome man stepping out of a sleek car, dressed in a sharp suit. His presence was commanding, yet his smile was warm as he walked toward us.
"Yaaah! Hyung, you scared us!" Tae scolded the man, pouting like an upset child.
The man chuckled, dimples appearing on his cheeks. "Sorry, little brother. I didn't think I could scare an alien like you." His tone was teasing, and the fondness in his eyes made me smile.
"So handsome..." I muttered under my breath, caught off guard by the man's appearance.
"Jimin-ah, this is my clumsy older brother, Kim Namjoon. Hyung, meet my soulmate, Park Jimin," Tae introduced us, his arm around my shoulder.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Kim," I said politely, bowing slightly. But Tae burst out laughing, whispering something about namjoon being an old man.
Namjoon shook his head with a smile, clearly used to Tae's antics. "Aish, this kid. Don't be so formal with me, Jimin-ah. Just call me Joonie hyung, okay?" His warm smile made me feel instantly at ease, and I nodded.
"Do you need a ride, Jimin-ah? We can drop you off," Namjoon offered kindly.
I quickly shook my head. "No, thank you, hyung. My b-boyfriend will be picking me up soon." The mention of a 'boyfriend' made Namjoon raise an eyebrow. 'Why is everyone so surprised when I say I have a boyfriend?' but before I could explain, Tae started laughing.
"Did I say that out loud?" I asked, realizing they both heard my earlier slip-up.
Tae nodded, still chuckling. "You're so cute, Jimin-ah. But you seriously broke my heart today!" He teased, pinching my cheeks playfully.
Soon after, Namjoon and Tae said their goodbyes, leaving me alone to wait for Jungkook. I sat on a nearby bench, pulling out my phone to call him.
"Hello, Kookie hyung!" I said excitedly when he answered.
"Hey, Minnie. How was your first day? Did everything go okay?"
"Yes, hyung! It was amazing. Can you come pick me up? I'm starving," I added with a playful whine.
"Of course, Jimin-ah. I'll be there in half an hour, and I'll bring something for you to eat. Is that okay?" His voice was filled with concern, and it made me smile.
"That's perfect. Thanks, hyung!" I ended the call, feeling warm inside. Looking up at the sky, I couldn't help but silently thank the universe for surrounding me with such loving people.

Jungkook's POV
I hung up the phone with a smile. Jimin sounded so happy-his joy radiated through the call. I had been a little worried about his first day, afraid that he might feel out of place, but hearing his excitement put all those fears to rest. Everything seemed to have gone well, and that made me feel relieved.
"Jimin?" Yoongi hyung's teasing voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Picking him up from college today?"
"Yeah, it's his first day, so I'm going to pick him up. Hyung, do we have any other work today, or can I head home after that?"
Yoongi smiled, clearly fond of Jimin. "You're free to go. Tell Jimin I said congrats on surviving his first day." He winked.
I nodded and waved goodbye, heading towards the parking lot. As I was about to unlock my car, a voice stopped me in my tracks.
"Ava..."
