Author’s POV

"I can’t let anyone slut-shame my son, though!" Mr. Park announced with a mock smile, casually waving his gun in the air like it was a toy. Meanwhile, Mr. Jeon smirked coldly at Ava, his sharp gaze slicing through her like a blade.

“Appa? Dad?” Jungkook’s voice wavered in disbelief as his wide eyes darted between the two men. The others looked equally shocked.

"Wait… those handsome men are your dads?" Taehyung asked, his jaw practically hitting the floor. His dreamy expression lingered as he glanced between Mr. Park and Mr. Jeon, shamelessly ogling their sharp features. “No wonder you two turned out so good-looking!” he added with a sigh, only to get slapped upside the head by his brother.

“Snap out of it, Tae,” namjoon hissed, shaking his head as if trying to remind everyone that this was not the time to drool over anyone.

“Appa, what’s happening here?!” Jungkook’s voice broke the tension as he looked at his father, disbelief etched across his face. It was the first time he had ever seen his father in such a dark, almost sinister light. His gaze then shifted to Mr. Park, holding a gun with an unsettling ease. “And my in-law with a gun?”

Dongwook didn’t even spare Jungkook a glance. “That’s a conversation for another day, Jungkook. Right now, we have bigger problems to deal with,” he said coolly, his voice steady, almost eerily calm. He whistled as he stepped closer to Ava, who was now trembling, her legs folding beneath her as she collapsed to the floor.

“Hello, Ava,” Dongwook began, his tone smooth and polite, but the underlying menace was undeniable. “It’s our first time meeting, but I already know so much about you. Here’s the thing—I’m not exactly known for my patience. So, let’s skip the pleasantries. Where. Is. Jimin?”

Ava tried to hold his gaze, but the fear in her eyes betrayed her bravado. “Why would you think I had anything to do with that bitc—AHHHH!”

A sharp gunshot rang out, cutting her off mid-sentence. Ava screamed, clutching her arm where the bullet had just grazed her. Blood seeped through her fingers as she sobbed in pain and shock.

“I wouldn’t have said that if I were you,” Gong Yoo remarked with a low chuckle, his tone as casual as if he were discussing the weather.

Jungkook stared at his father, his face a mixture of disbelief and horror. “Appa, what the hell is going on?!”

Dongwook ignored his son in law's outburst and instead leaned down slightly, his voice dropping to an almost intimate whisper. “Since I’m feeling generous today, I’ll give you one more chance, Ava. Tell me where Jimin is. Remember, this is your last chance.” He twirled the gun in his hand like it was an accessory, his nonchalance adding to the tension.

“I-I don’t know, sir!” Ava stammered, tears streaming down her face. “I swear, I don’t know where he is! I was with him the whole time! Please, you have to believe me!” She pointed desperately at the doctor standing nervously in the corner, who nodded rapidly, looking more terrified than helpful.

“If it’s not you, then who?” Dongwook tilted his head, studying her as if she were an unsolvable puzzle.

“I—I don’t know!” Ava sobbed, her voice cracking under the pressure.

Jungkook stepped forward, his face hardening. “Don’t you dare act innocent, Ava. Your best friend Olivia already told me you were planning something,” he said, his voice sharp with anger, though his mind was still racing from the shocking revelations about his father.

“Your best friend Olivia already told me about your little plan,” Jungkook continued, his tone biting as his fists clenched at his sides. His usually calm, stoic demeanor was replaced by an intensity that made everyone in the room pause. His eyes burned with barely contained rage, and his jaw tightened as he stepped closer, his focus solely on Ava.
