Author's Pov
Everyone in the room turned to Olivia in shock—except for Mr. Park and Mr. Jeon, who remained oddly calm.
"I swear, my son keeps attracting lunatics from all over the world," Mr. Jeon sighed, shaking his head with mild amusement. "Dongwook, do you remember that girl back in Korea? The one who was obsessed with Jungkook? God, she was such a nuisance that even Go Eun wanted to kill her."
Dongwook chuckled, reminiscing. "Oh, I remember. That girl was completely unhinged."
"And now your son is my son's husband," Mr. Park added, exhaling dramatically. "Poor Jimin-ah, having to deal with all these psychos. He deserves better."
The two men continued their conversation like they weren’t in the middle of a high-stakes confrontation, their casual demeanor contrasting sharply with the tension in the room. Everyone else stared at them in disbelief, while Jungkook stood frozen, unsure whether to be horrified by their indifference or proud of their confidence.
Meanwhile, Ava's world crumbled around her. She turned to Olivia with eyes filled with pain, her lips trembling as she choked out, "H-How... How can you do this to me, Olivia? I thought you genuinely cared about me! If you wanted Jungkook, I would've given him to you! That’s how much I trusted you. That’s how much I cared!"
Tears streamed down her face, her chest rising and falling with ragged breaths. But Olivia remained unmoved. Instead, she tilted her head, watching Ava with nothing but cold amusement.
"Care?" Olivia scoffed, her voice laced with venom. "You were just a pathetic, lonely orphan to me. Nothing more."
Ava’s breath hitched, her body swaying as if Olivia had just stabbed her through the heart. The words cut deeper than any betrayal she'd ever faced. More than losing Jungkook. More than anything. Her best friend—the one she thought would always stand by her—had never cared for her at all.
Jungkook clenched his fists, disgust curling in his gut. He couldn’t believe he ever let these kinds of people into his life.
"These girls are making me sick," Yoongi muttered, rubbing his temple as he leaned back against the wall. His face was void of emotion, but his exhaustion was evident.
"Agreed," Gongyoo added with a yawn, completely indifferent to Ava and Olivia’s collapsing friendship. "Dongwook, let’s wrap this up. Jiminie must be exhausted."
Dongwook nodded, his patience wearing thin. His voice dropped to an icy calm as he stepped closer to Olivia, his presence suffocating. "Alright then, Olivia. Storytime is over. Where is my son?"
A wicked grin spread across Olivia’s face. She lifted her chin, her eyes glinting with twisted amusement.
"He’s already dead by now."
Then she let out a chilling, crazed laugh, sending a wave of dread crashing over the room. The once casual atmosphere shifted into something dark and suffocating.
Jungkook's breath caught in his throat. The air around him felt heavier, his ears ringing with the weight of those words. His vision blurred at the edges, rage and fear battling for dominance.
The room fell into a deathly silence.
Everyone's muscles tensed, their eyes fixed on Olivia.
And then—
The storm was about to break.

With Jimin (Finally) – A Few Hours Ago
Jimin's POV
The muffled sounds of voices stirred me awake. My head felt heavy, my limbs aching from the uncomfortable position I had been forced into. Blinking a few times, I tried to clear the haziness clouding my vision, and as I did, the blurry figures before me slowly became distinguishable.
