"You're really shameless!"

Yan Jue felt herself sinking into a soft surface, groggy and disoriented.

She frowned, wanting to reach out and grab something, but was instead met with a warm breeze brushing against her face.

The movement brought with it a faint scent of plum blossoms, making her neck itch.

When she finally opened her eyes, she was startled to meet a pair of clear, water-like black eyes.

How could there be... a woman beneath her?

Somehow, she had ended up pinning a woman to the ground.

She was straddling the other's waist, looking down from a high vantage point.

The woman had a cool and ethereal beauty, sitting on the ground with one hand propped up, her brow slightly furrowed. Her features were delicate, with sunlight cascading over her fair skin, giving it a gentle glow.

She wore a snow-white long dress, the front slightly pulled open, revealing skin as radiant as snow.

Perhaps due to the awkwardness of their position, the woman's side profile was tinted with a warm peachy hue.

Yan Jue instinctively took a deep breath, the faint scent reminiscent of secluded mountain valleys filling her nostrils.

Before she could process what was happening, an overwhelming surge of spiritual energy thrust her away, and she crashed back down to the ground.

The hard, cold stone floor met her body, sending pain shooting through her arm.

Yan Jue's eyes widened in shock. Before she could even cry out in pain, her body seemed to move of its own accord, staggering towards the woman not far away.

Only then did she realize she was holding an extremely sharp knife, and without conscious control, she raised her hand, aiming it at the delicate, fair neck of the woman in front of her.

A scream erupted in her mind, but the words that came out were: "You shameless hussy! Who gave you the right to steal my Chu Lang!"

"......"

A wave of intense pain surged from her chest, spreading throughout her limbs. Yan Jue jumped up, flying several feet away.

???

Yan Jue began to sense that something was off.

If this were a dream, it felt too real.

She had just closed her eyes after finishing a long day of work, so what was happening?

Before she could think further, a heart-wrenching pain shot through her chest, as if it would tear her apart.

She felt as if she couldn't breathe, curling up and gasping for air.

Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through, as if someone had stepped in front of her.

Yan Jue's heart raced, and she opened her eyes just a crack, stunned.

The woman she had just pinned down was now standing in front of her.

Dressed in flowing white robes, her long black hair was tied back with a ribbon, and her face exuded an otherworldly coolness.

The white fabric of her dress rustled gently in the wind, like an ethereal being descended from the heavens.

What caught Yan Jue's eye was the sword at the woman's waist.

The slender blade was engraved with intricate inscriptions, its sheath a deep, imposing black.

The woman looked down at her, speaking calmly, "It's already clear. Are you still unwilling to leave, junior sister?"
