The cream and brown coloured building had been occupying my vision for at least 20 minutes. I'd been waiting and wondering if I should make the next step to go see her. I wanted to obey her wishes but what I'd learned about her man had me really wondering if she was okay.
Mi no do dem tings ya but I just had to know. The worse that could happen was she could think I was stalking her or some crazy shit.
Fuck mi sure no want that but I was still following my gut, I knew she was home. I exited the car just as she emerged through the front door. I made my way to the small veranda noticing how wobbly and disoriented she looked. She took something off the ground.
"Ny?" I called as I approached. She visibly sighed but didn't look at me. Why she look so?
The pink T-shirt she had on stopped mid thigh, it was wrinkled and had wet sloshes on it. She only had on one foot of socks and it seemed she was fighting to keep her eyes open.
"What do you want?" She asked.
She wouldn't or couldn't meet my gaze, my heart sank. Was she fucking high?
"Open this."
I didn't need to ask if she was okay obviously she wasn't.
"No." She slurred.
"Ny."
"Why are you here? I made it clear about space." She said lowly, closing her eyes and shrugging.
"Open the grill Nyasia."
Or Was she drunk?
Did he cause this? I wanted to kill him. The fact that I hadn't seen him, I hadn't gotten to him made me livid.
Weh di fuck him do to her?"Ny." I said softly.
I didn't want to cause a scene, it was the middle of the day. One of the main reasons I was hesitant to come here, I knew she would've want any attention directed to her. If Sophia was here I could at least let her talk to her or something. But she'd been called in to work I heard.
She went inside leaving the door open.
How did I deal with this.?
I checked the lock on the grill and scoffed. It was fucking open.
The fuck?I shook my head and let myself in.
Might regret this."Nyasia."
"Don? Ugggh I told you to leave." She said softly.
She was laying on the sofa. I pried the Wray and nephew bottle from her fingers and she closed her eyes and sighed. The bottle was half empty.
"I miss her." She slurred.
What who?
I sat down in the sofa beside her unsure of what to do with myself.
Fuck me come ya fa?Looking around the place it was spotless except for a few wet spots on the rug I assumed the rum had spilled. Since the place reeked of it. I pulled a photograph from under her foot, it was her and a girl. She looked younger.
Fuck, her sister. She missed her dead sister.
Joder."Mi ago vomit come out no, please." She said slowly, covering her mouth.
