The song "Hurt You" by The Weeknd was blasting through the party, every beat echoing in Ellie's chest. She stood there, lost in the crowd, but all her focus was on Billie. The past few days had been a mix of electrifying and confusing, and Ellie had realized she could no longer ignore the growing attraction between them. Tonight, she was ready to take the plunge.
When she spotted Billie getting a drink in the kitchen, Ellie started moving. She made her way through the crowd, her determination growing with each step. She stopped right in front of Billie, surprise and curiosity lighting up Billie's face.
Ellie: "What game are you playing with me, Billie?"
Billie raised an eyebrow, a provocative smile on her lips: "I don't know what you're talking about, Ellie." Her eyes sparkled with confidence, and Ellie couldn't help but be captivated by her attitude.
Without waiting for Billie's response, Ellie grabbed her hand and pulled her into a quieter corner, though there were still people nearby, laughing, dancing, and talking around them. The atmosphere was charged with electricity, and Ellie could feel her heart racing as they moved further away from the crowd.
Ellie: "You know exactly what I'm talking about, don't play innocent."
Her tone was both challenging and eager, and she surprised herself for being so direct.
Billie didn't back down, her gaze never leaving Ellie's: "I just wanted to get you out of an awkward situation."
Ellie: "I'm not talking about what happened with Lina... I'm talking about us. Is this a game for you?"
Billie, a small defiant smile on her lips: "And what do you think?"
Ellie looked her straight in the eyes, her resolve strengthening: "I don't want to waste my time, Billie. I'm standing here, right in front of you, and I don't know where we stand."
Billie stepped closer, their faces now so close Ellie could smell her perfume.
Billie: "I know what I want."
Ellie shivered at the closeness of Billie: "What do you want exactly? Tell me."
Billie's smile grew wider, a glint of challenge in her eyes: "Right now? It's you."
Ellie, unable to hide the flush on her cheeks, felt a thrill run down her spine.
Billie: "I know you want me too, I'm here, you're here, and there's clearly something between us. Why not find out together?"
The tension heightened. Ellie could feel her heart pounding.
Ellie, trying to stay calm: "What if it's a mistake?"
Billie: "Then I'd say it's a mistake worth exploring, and I'm ready to take the risk." She moved even closer, her voice softening.
Ellie bit her lip, impressed by Billie's determination. "So, what do we do now?"
Billie: "We let go."
The weight of those words only intensified the scene.
Ellie, softly: "I want you so badly, Billie."
Billie: "I want you too," she murmured as she leaned in closer, their faces so close Ellie could almost feel the heat of her breath. "I want you to be ready to cross that line."
Ellie swallowed, her lips just a few centimeters from Billie's. "What if I'm ready?" she asked, her heart racing.
Billie tilted her head slightly, her eyes shining with challenge. "Then what are we waiting for?"
They stayed like that for a moment, the tension palpable, their gazes exchanging like a dance. Then, without warning, Billie grabbed Ellie's neck, pulling her closer. Their lips met, more passionately than ever.
Ellie let herself be swept away by the kiss, her hands sliding into Billie's hair, while Billie held her firmly, as if to make sure she wouldn't pull away. The passion intensified, and Ellie, lost in the heat of the moment, slid her hands under Billie's t-shirt, feeling the softness of her skin. Billie let out a sigh of pleasure, and their embrace grew more intense as Ellie deepened the kiss, not caring about anyone else around them.
The music and the noise of the party seemed to fade into the background. The intensity of their exchange isolated them, allowing them to explore this new dynamic, each touch fueling the heat between them. Ellie was amazed by the confidence she felt in this moment, as if she had always known she could give in to this shared desire.
Billie's hands traveled over Ellie's arms, touching her with a mix of softness and burning desire. She gently tugged at Ellie's waist, pulling her even closer, their bodies brushing against each other. Their hearts beat in unison, carried away by the adrenaline of this unique moment.
Billie, between kisses, whispered: "You're amazing," her warm breath grazing Ellie's cheek.
Ellie closed her eyes for a moment, savoring every sensation, every shiver Billie caused in her.
Billie looked at her, a mischievous smile on her lips. "I didn't think you'd be so bold."
Ellie, carried away by the confidence Billie gave her, straightened up, wearing a teasing expression. "And I didn't think you'd be so easily charmed."
Billie burst out laughing, a sound that resonated like music to Ellie's ears. This light moment between them brought a new warmth, a camaraderie that went beyond their physical attraction.
But as Billie deepened their embrace, she realized the sound of laughter and conversations around them hadn't completely faded. She pulled back slightly, a hint of surprise in her eyes. Ellie, realizing the situation, nervously smiled.
Ellie: "Wait, we can't... here."
Billie: "You don't want to go somewhere else?"
The idea of being interrupted by the party embarrassed Ellie, but the desire to continue this moment one-on-one excited her just as much.
Ellie: "I know exactly where to go, follow me."
Ellie grabbed Billie's hand and led her through the crowd, her heart racing at the thought of what was to come. But as they moved forward, they ran into Kate and Zoé. Kate's eyes were filled with tears.
Ellie immediately let go of Billie's hand and rushed to Kate: "Shit, Kate, what's going on?"
Zoé, looking concerned, spoke softly: "Kate just got dumped over the phone by her asshole boyfriend."
Ellie's face went pale at the news, her heart tightening. She turned to Billie, hesitation in her eyes.
Ellie: "What a dickhead, I'm so sorry Kate. Do you want us to go home?"
Kate, wiping her tears with a hesitant hand, shook her head: "No, really, it's fine. I can go home on my own."
Ellie stepped closer, placing a comforting hand on her friend's shoulder: "No, Kate, you shouldn't be alone right now. I'm coming with you."
Kate tried to smile: "But I don't want to bother you, Ellie. You're here to have fun."
Ellie insisted, her voice firm but gentle: "It doesn't bother me at all, you need me, and I'm not leaving you. We're going home together."
Billie, though disappointed, understood the situation. She nodded, encouraging Ellie to be there for her friend.
Billie: "You really should go, Ellie. Kate needs you."
Kate, still a little hesitant but touched by Ellie's determination, finally agreed: "If you insist. Thanks, Ellie. I feel like shit right now, it's terrible."
Ellie gave Billie one last look, a spark of regret in her eyes.
Ellie: "I'm really sorry, Billie."
Billie: "Don't worry about it, it's important to be there for your friends."
As Ellie and Kate headed toward the exit, Billie watched them walk away, a mix of longing and understanding in her gaze. Ellie knew they would have another moment, someday, but for now, she had to be there for Kate.
