The daylight filtered through the window, and the warmth of the sun on Ellie's cheeks gently woke her up. She blinked a few times, rubbing her face with a hand still a bit numb from sleep. Billie was already up, her eyes glued to her phone. Her face, bathed in the soft morning light, had a serene quality to it. Ellie watched her for a moment before breaking the silence.

"Hey," she said in a voice still thick with sleep, her mouth dry from just waking up.

Billie turned her head, her eyes sparkling, and a sly smile spread across her lips. She slowly placed her phone on the nightstand.

"Did you sleep well?" Billie asked, stretching slightly, her arms reaching above her head.

Ellie sat up slowly in bed, stretching herself before answering.

"Always. Your bed's pretty comfortable," she said, a teasing note in her voice.

Billie looked at her, a glint of challenge in her eyes before responding, feigning indignation.

"Just my bed?"

Ellie shrugged, a mischievous look on her face.

"Just that," she repeated with a playful grin.

Billie burst out laughing before pretending to pout.

"Okay, I'll remember that," she said dramatically turning her head.

But before she could move away, Ellie slid onto her, straddling her with her legs wrapped around Billie. She leaned forward gently, tenderly holding Billie's chin to make her look at her. Ellie brought her lips close to Billie's in a calm and soft kiss.

"You might have something to do with it too," Ellie whispered, her lips almost brushing Billie's.

Without waiting a second longer, Billie responded immediately, letting herself get lost in the softness of the moment. She placed her hands on Ellie's hips, slowly slipping them under her t-shirt. A shiver ran through Ellie at the touch, and Billie couldn't help but smile in satisfaction. The kiss deepened, becoming more intense, more urgent. In the blink of an eye, Ellie's t-shirt was gone, slipping to the floor, her hands now gripping Billie's arms.

Billie moved closer, her lips brushing Ellie's ear.

"Will you let me take control, baby?" she murmured, her voice husky with desire.

Ellie, a little confused but just as excited, mumbled something incoherent, but Billie didn't wait. In one smooth motion, she flipped Ellie onto her back, reversing their positions. Ellie, taking advantage of the opportunity, hurried to pull Billie's t-shirt off. She lingered for a moment, taking in every detail of her body, as though she wanted to burn the image into her memory.

"I'm never going to get over this," Ellie whispered, her eyes shining.

Billie let out a soft laugh, amused by Ellie's reaction, before placing gentle kisses on her stomach. She moved lower, inching closer, savoring every touch, every shiver she drew from Ellie. Ellie's breath quickened, her hands gripping the sheets, as if she needed something to anchor herself to avoid losing herself in the ecstasy of the moment.

Ellie sighed, her voice barely above a whisper, "You're the only one who does it like I like."

The intensity grew, and the two girls gave in to the heat and pleasure of the moment. The outside world seemed to fade away, time stopping around them. When everything finally began to calm down, they lay side by side, catching their breath.

After that particularly intense moment, the two girls began preparing to part once more. Reality was slowly creeping back in. Billie's flight was leaving in a few hours, and Ellie had to meet Joan and Aubrey at their Airbnb. They'd had two incredible days together, but the time for separation had come.

Ellie watched Billie pack her things, her movements quick and precise. She was used to this, and it showed.

"Are you ready for the rest of the tour?" Ellie asked, leaning against the wall, arms crossed.

Billie turned her head, a sly smile on her lips. "Always ready. Honestly, I've already started missing it." She zipped up her suitcase and turned to Ellie, her eyes sparkling with the indomitable energy that defined her.

"Your energy fascinates me," Ellie replied with a small laugh, admiring Billie's flawless attitude, ready to jump from one concert to the next as if it never wore her out.

Time flew, and before long, the moment of separation arrived. The air suddenly felt heavier, as if every second now counted.

"I'll see you soon," Billie said, stepping closer to Ellie, a tender smile on her lips. Her hands gently brushed Ellie's before wrapping around her waist to pull her in for a hug.

Ellie nodded, her heart pounding. "I'll meet you in exactly three days in Amsterdam."

"I sure hope so," Billie replied, her eyes bright with impatience. "I can't wait to see you again."

Ellie leaned in slightly and kissed Billie's lips, a soft kiss but full of promises. "Me too, plus a friend gave me a super fancy camera that costs a fortune, I'm excited to test it on you," she added with a mischievous smile.

Billie let out a small laugh before answering, her tone light but sincere. "What are you guys doing for those two days with your friends?"

Ellie : "We'll probably finish exploring the city. Hopefully, they won't be too mad at me for ditching them without much news."

Billie : "Do you want me to write an excuse note?"

Ellie raised an eyebrow. "What would you write on it? That we were too busy fucking and eating sushi?"

Billie burst out laughing at the suggestion. "It's a good start, I'm sure even Livaï would understand."

Ellie smiled but shook her head. "I'd doubt that."

Their laughter blended in the air, but time was running out. Billie grabbed her suitcase and headed toward the vehicle waiting outside, Ellie following behind lightly. Billie turned one last time, her eyes locking with Ellie's. Without a word, she stole one last kiss, and Ellie smiled against her lips before whispering, "Have a good flight, Billie."

Billie: "Enjoy yourself and take care, okay?"

They both got into different Ubers, Ellie's heading to the apartment where Joan, Aubrey, and her dog were waiting. On her way to meet her friends, her heart was still a little caught in the moments she'd shared with Billie.

But at that moment, Ellie wasn't yet ready to face what the future had in store for her...
