Rivendell was a vision of beauty. The setting sun cast long rays between the trees, turning the sky into a mix of pinks and golds. You stood on the balcony, mezmerized by the serene scene before you.
Yet, your mind was far from the scenery. It was filled with thoughts of Lord Elrond. The elven lord was wise, noble, and Incredibly handsome, with an air of grace that left you in awe. You often found yourself daydreaming about him, especially during the quiet moments.
"(Y/N)?" His voice broke through your thoughts, and you turned to see him approaching. The light caught his dark hair, making it glow in a golden tone.
"Greetings, my lord Elrond," you replied, attempting to keep your voice steady, though your heart raced. "What brings you here?"
He stepped closer, a soft smile on his lips. "I could ask the same of you, for it appears you are lost in the beautyofthis place. I find the gardens are the most enchanting sight in Rivendell."
You felt a warmth spread through you at his compliment. "Indeed, they are quite beautiful. The flowers seem to dance under the gentle breeze, don't you think?"
"They do," he said, his gaze drifting toward the flowers. "But their beauty is nothing compared to the light you bring to this realm."
Your cheeks flushed at his words. "You honor me, my lord. I am but a casual elf in Rivendell, yet your kindness means much to me."
A comfortable silence enveloped you, filled only by the soft rustling of leaves and the distant murmur of the waterfall. The sky shifted to deeper shades of purple and blue, and the stars began to twinkle overhead, making the moment feel magical.
After a moment, Elrond turned to you, his expression serious. "(Y/N), there is a matter of great importance that I wish to discuss with you."
Your heart quickened. "What is it, my lord?"
He hesitated for a moment, as if gathering his thoughts. "In our time spent together, I have come to realize that my feelings for you have grown far beyond friendship. Your spirit has captivated me in ways I did not expect."
You were momentarily speechless, your heart racing at the meaning of his words. "Elrond, I-"
"I am not skilled in the art of expressing my heart's desires," he continued, his voice serious. "Yet I cannot ignore this connection that has grown between us. You have become very important to me."
Your heart skipped a beat at his confession. "I feel the same way, my lord. I have cherished our time together, and my feelings for you have grown stronger with each passing day."
A smile broke across his face. "I am relieved to hear this. I was scared how you would react"
You both shared a quiet laugh, the tension dissipating as you enjoyed the moment. "Perhaps you should let yourself be a little less serious at times," you suggested playfully. "It would do you good, my lord."
"Perhaps you are correct," he replied, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes. "But for now, would you grant me the honor of a stroll through the gardens? I yearn to spend more time in your company."
"I would love to," you said, your heart fluttering as he extended his arm for you to take.
As you wandered through the breathtaking gardens of Rivendell, the world around you felt more alive than ever. The stars were shining upon you, and the moonlight painted a silver path on the ground, as if guiding your steps.
"(Y/N)," Elrond said softly, glancing at you. "Whatever may come to pass, I am grateful that we share this moment."
"Me too, Elrond," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. "This is a memory I shall treasure."
As you reached a secluded spot by the waterfall, the soft rush of water filled the air. Elrond turned to you. "There is something I have long desired to do."
You felt your breath hitch as he leaned closer, searching your eyes for consent. You nodded, unable to find your voice, your heart pounding in yourchest.
In a breathtaking moment, he leaned in and pressed his lips against yours.
When he finally pulled away, you both stood there breathless, a mixture of surprise and joy filling the air. "I have waited for that moment for so long," he said, a warm look in his eyes.
"As have I, my lord," you replied, smiling widely. "It was everything I imagined and more."
Elrond's expression softened, and he took your hands in his, his touch warm and gentle. "I believe this is but the beginning of a beautiful journey for us, one that I look forward to exploring together."
And as you stood under the starlit sky, with the beauty of Rivendell surrounding you, you knew that this was a moment you would cherish forever.
