chapter 21: I'm too scared!

Me (author): guys I'm almost done with volleyball soon so I get to write more!! :3

Eclipse's pov:

I was getting back to my room after another terrible day of work. I have been working double now because i wanted to make sure I have time for the baby, wedding, and hopefully honeymoon and maybe time after so we can relax before we head back to work. It was so much work and I appreciate sun helping me do paperwork.

I silently walked in the dark room, trying not to wake sun up if he was sleeping, I went over to my wardrobe to pick out some clothes.cu clothes to sleep in. After I placed them on I hopped into bed and went under the covers. I gently snuggled up to sun and gave him a kiss on his head.

"Hi.." he said faintly.

I flinched, didn't expect him to be awake.

"Hi.. I didn't think you would be awake.. you're usually passed out by the time I get here.." I said back, telling the honest truth of how he was out cold when I arrived back at the room.

"Now, why are you up? Another nightmare? Hungry? Thirsty?" I asked.

"No, no, not that.. I'm just worried.." he said faintly, I could hear his frightened voice.

"Is it about moon..?"  I asked back, wanting an answer so I could help him.

"No.. it's.. the baby.." he said.

"What.. do you mean?" I asked, confused why he would say that, we have everything sorted out and the baby was healthy.. what was he so worried about?

"It's just that.. what if there are any problems while I'm in labor..? I-i don't wanna die.. I don't want the baby to die.." he said, his breathing being slightly fast.

"Hey, hey..(I said as I petted his back and stomach) it's going to be fine.. I know, it can get scary.. and who am I to judge? I'm not the one with a growing organism in my stomach.." I said softly to him, trying not to raise anymore tension.

He giggled, the sound I dearly liked, especially when I'm the cause of such a sweet sound..

"I promise.. on my life that you'll be ok.. and the baby.. if there are any complications I'll fix them, or someone else will.." I said as my lips gently brushed upon his forehead.

"Promise..?" He said.

"Promise.." I said back to him.

He yawned, laying his head onto the crook of my neck.

"Did you find your outfit?" I asked.

"Ya! I can't wait to wear it! I got it a little bigger though just in case.." he said, his smile evident in his voice.

"Good.. I can't wait to see you wear it.. you'll look immaculate in it.." I said. I gently held him closer, obviously careful of his stomach. I gave him another guick kiss on the head.

Soon, we both fell asleep. Sun had his slight snores and I snuggled the smaller male. It was like that for.. most of the night..

Though I didn't expect something to come so soon in the middle of the night to surprise us both..
