chapter 22: ahh!

Me (author): as you know, I left off with a cliffhanger so let's continue!

Sun's pov:

I was enjoying my sleep.. I was snuggled up to eclipse, snoring slightly, I was warm under the covers and I was comfortable all over.

As I was sleeping, there was a sudden pain in my stomach, at first I thought the baby was just kicking but the pain was worse, WAY worse.. I moved a little and rubbed my stomach.ach to the baby to call down but she wouldn't. I breathed heavily and shook eclipse.

"Ya..?" He said tired, almost pouting by being woken up.

"It hurts! My stomach hurts really bad!" I said practically shouting at him.

"Hey! Whoa.. calm down.. it will be alright.." he said as he petted my stomach to call the baby but it didn't work, I was sweating by now and the immense pain felt like my organs were being pulled out of my body at that moment, like they were being torn apart or something! 

Suddenly there was wetness on and between my thighs..

It was now happening..

Eclipse could feel that my water had just broke and he sprung to action. I picked me up right away, and barged out of our room. I didn't expect it but I was glad that he did what he did. He carried me to find a guard to grab somebody.

"W-why can't you just do it..? Don't you know this stuff??" I asked, the pain not helping me speak at all.

"I don't trust myself! I'm going to mess up somehow so I'm getting a different person!" He said as he continued to run with me in his arms. I held on for my dear life as he ran with me in his arms, scared that I will fall off.

"Hey! I got you, don't stress ok? You need to stay calm.." he said. It put some hope in my system and I tried to call down. Eclipse finally found a guard.

"Hey! You! Do you know if the med is open?" He asked, frantically and out of breath.

"Yes sir! It should be open! Do you need any help with your husband?" He asked.

"No! Thank you though!" Eclipse said as he ran off towards the med, he used his back to barged through the door. The lady who was walking by who looked like she was ready to leave gasped. She saw eclipse and me and then focused. "Follow me.." she said.

Eclipse followed the nurse, trying to catch his breath. Before I knew it I was placed on a bed in a hospital gown. I had passed out a few times and my body was just in utter shock, I felt like I needed to throw up or do something.

I breathed heavily as eclipse tried to keep me calm, everything happening in blurry vision.

Eclipse's pov:

I watched as sun struggleed to stay calm.. I really couldn't blame him.. he was in a bunch of pain and I could only watch.

FINALLY, a doctor walked in and looked over sun, checking for anything back or good.

Look, I'm glad that he did but I want the baby out of sun right now..

After they were done, they got sun ready to "push the baby out" sun was having back to back contractions, he practically groaned and screamed in pillows. I petted and kissed his head to give him strength to do it, hoping that it would help, tears fell down his cheeks and I kissed them away.

When sun began to "push" (sorry I can't take this seriously) he held onto anything he could, including me, be was gripping my arm, as if he was planning to suffocate it. He had way more strength than I imagined... I held his leg up to help him.

I know dad's have passed out during or watching it all happening but I knew that I had to help it together, I had to stay here the whole time, it would just be I just if I did..

After several hours, we were finished with all the hell, sun was out to sleep so he could call down while the baby was being washed and checked on. I was sitting on a chair, waiting for sun to wake up, I brought a blanket from our room so sun would be warmer. I held his hand, watching him as he slept peacefully. I smiled.

He did a good job, a really good job. Even if I was extremely tired and almost fell asleep, I was really proud of him and when he did.  I gently kissed his head.

After what seemed like forever, and a two hour nap for me, sun woke up. He looked around the room a little bit and down at me.

"Did you sleep well..?" I asked him.

"Ya.. I'm just.. very sore.." he said.

I smiled.

"I bet.. you need to stay in this room for at least 24 hours to heal up enough to leave.." I said.

"Really?" He asked back.

"Ya.. I'll just do what the doctor say honey.. I know you don't wanna stay in her for too long but I just want what's best for you.." I said to him.

"um.. so the baby? Are they ok?"  Sun asked.

"Mhm, nice and healthy.." they are sleeping at the moment I think.. they'll bring them in when she wakes up so that the baby can connect to you.. well better.. you barely got to hold that after they were out.." I said to him, resting my head on the bed.

"What is the gender?" Sun asked eagerly.

"I don't know yet.." eclipse said back.

"But I just wanna let you know that you did a good job.. a very good job.." I said to him, giving him a kiss on the hand.

Sun smiled. "Thank you.. I'm glad that I don't have to worry about them baby tHt much anymore.."
