Chapter 6: For the Millionth Time.

So its another weekend, I don't have to go to work to sign papers or anything, I don't have to attend meetings, I don't have to meet people here or there. Thank God.

I was sitting on the couch watching some shows and my dog was next to me. I was eating nutella pancakes until my phone rang, "Hello ?", I answered, "Good morning Rebecca.", Jennifer greeted, "Good morning Jennifer.", I greeted back;

Jennifer: What are you doing today ?

Me: Nothing, I am planning to stay on the couch and watch T.V shows with Blue.

Jennifer: What are you going to do at 6 today ?

Me: Not sure, why ?

Jennifer: I know you will be mad at us for this, and we are utterly sorry Becs. You are going on a date.

Me: Jennifer this is the millionth guy you introduce me to and the fifth to set me up with, why can't you girls understand that I am not really interested right now ?

Jennifer: Becs you will have second thoughts about dating when you meet this guy, he is sweet, gorgeous, rich, good at his job, and he wants someone to spoil.

Me: Just because he's all that and probably more doesn't mean it will change my point of view about dating.

Jennifer: *sighing* Well can you at least give it a shot ? Go out Becs, live your life a bit, you're not staying 23 forever.

Me: Fine. Where is it ?

Jennifer: Persian Moon.

Me: Okay.

Jennifer: Byeee.

Me: Bye.

We hung up and I threw my phone aside and my dog looked at me with concerned eyes, "They're setting me up again Blue.", I rubbed his back, he barked, "I can't, I have to go.", I told him, I pretend I know what my dog says and sometimes we do understand each other. "I'll just drop you at Lucas and you can have fun with him.", I said.

So it was the date hour now. I wore a floral dress with red heels and my hair was down naturally, I wasn't really bothered. Even with the makeup, I only applied a bit of lip-gloss and eye-liner, no one has an idea how unmotivated I am right now. I arrived at the restaurant and I went to the host, "Excuse me there's a reservation by the name of Andrews.", I told him, "This way Miss.", he got a menu and he escorted me to a table next to the window, "The gentleman is not here yet but he asked us to serve you a drink that he will pay for.", the host said, "I'll just have water, thank you.", I sat down and I waited. If this guy doesn't show up in the next hour I will leave, I will not waste my time on someone who won't show up when I can spend that hour doing something for myself.

30 minutes later someone compliments me, "You look beautiful Rebecca.", he said, I look up from my phone and I see Scott, "Scott ?", I asked, "Surprise!", he joked and he took a seat next to me, of all the people it had to be Scott Andrews ? "You don't look comfortable with this date Rebecca.", he smirked, "I didn't expect it to be you Scott, did you ask Hayden to tell Riley to set us up or did you do it yourself ?", I asked, he chuckled, "I didn't go to Hayden or Riley. I met your friend Jennifer at his party last weekend and I told her if she could just tell you the location and time. This is my reservation.", he smiled, "You still went to one of my friends for help, but don't worry it isn't the first time.", I told him, "You've been on a date before ?", he asked, "I had 4 dates before this since Sophomore year in college, and it didn't really go well.", I admitted, "How can it not go well for a beautiful girl like you ?", he smirked, "Many reasons Scott.", I told him.

The date ended and he walked me to my car. "Are you coming to Thomas's gathering this weekend ?", he asked, "Yes.", I nodded, "Try and come with someone and I'll pick you up after, we'll hangout at my place.", he said, "Umm... Sure.", I said. I didn't want to sound rude but this was for the sake of Jennifer, Andrea, Kelsey, and Riley. I was done having people nag about me going out to places with guys.

I went back to my apartment and Lucas was still sitting there with Blue, "Hey there.", he greeted, "Hey.", I greeted back, "Who and how was it ?", he asked, "Scott Andrews.", I told him, "Of all the people ?", he asked, "You know him ?", I asked, "We talked at Hayden's gathering, he is unbelievably and profoundly conceited.", he said, "I noticed it in him today. All he talked about was how much he and his family makes everyday and how on top of his money he earns from the company he gets a million more from his dad.", I rolled my eyes, "Daddy's spoiled boy ?", he joked, "Exactly!", I slammed the orange juice carton on the granite table in the kitchen. "Did he ask you out again ?", he asked, "He wants to hangout out at his house this weekend after Thomas's gathering. You're going right ?", I asked, "Yea, anyways, I'm going to go now.", he said, "Alright, thanks for watching over Blue.", I told him and he left. I stood in the kitchen for moment, I took off my heels in the middle of the corridor and just stood in the kitchen with Blue's head tilted to the side, my weakness in dogs, "Can I take you with me to Scott's house this weekend ?", I asked him but he looked away, I chuckled. What a life I've got.

Writer's Note: Chapter 6! You know as much as Scott is a hottie (Up there :3) I don't like how I characterized him, but oh whale. Enjoy x
