Chapter 18: Second Attempt.

I was leaving California already, my brothers dropped me in the airport, my mom, Emily, and Peyton came along to say goodbye, "James wanted to say goodbye too.", Race lifted James up to me, "Hey there buddy.", I took James from him, "Are you coming back Beca ?", the kid asked, "Of course I will James, I will come back and bring Blue along too.", I told him, "I'm going to miss you Beca.", he wrapped his arms around my neck, "I'm going to miss you too little guy.", I hugged him tightly, I was probably the person who spent so much time with James, even when I was in New York I would Skype with him and it would last for hours. "Have a safe trip back, Rebecca.", Emily hugged me, so did Peyton, "Thank you girls. Take care of my brothers, the same goes for you boys.", I told them, I went to my mother and hugged her too, "Have a safe flight sweetheart.", she told me, "Thanks mom.", I told her, she backed away, "Don't forget what I told you before, just try, do things together and I promise you, you won't regret it.", she said, "I'll try mom.", I hugged her one last time and left.

I arrived in New York in the morning. I unpacked my things and took a rest for a few hours before I head to a mandatory gathering. Not only is it a monthly gathering but its also another interview at some hotel. I didn't even get that fancy, it was just a simple, strapless, black dress.

I got to the hotel and I was immediately interviewed by the same press, same questions, same rumors. I was done with that and I headed to the bar, I greeted some people here and there but I didn't stay for long. I just sat at the bar drinking juice and that was all I could do.

(Lucas)

I saw Rebecca head to the bar as she always does, she passed by me a few times, every time I try to talk to her I am just held back. I stood by the fountain and I just watched her, "What are you waiting for ? Go get her.", Thomas nudged my elbow, "Go for it, Lucas, give it a try, talk it out.", Hayden told me, I took a deep breath and I went for it but something caught my ears' interest. I followed the sound and it came from some compartment behind the small stage. I hid somewhere between stuff and I made sure I was silent, "And how do you propose I do that ?", some guy asked, his voice seems familiar, "Don't worry,", this one sounds just like Jennifer, "I'll paralyze her with this in her drink, you carry her to this room and you know the rest.", she told the guy, I saw her give him some room card, I couldn't see his face though, "Jennifer I don't even have the right equipment.", he told her, "Its all set up there Scott, all you have to do is take her there.", Jennifer told him, "And what about Lillian ?", he asked, "Lillian is not here right now, she doesn't have to know, besides, you always wanted Rebecca Forde's body didn't you ?", she asked, they did not just plot a rape against Rebecca, "Room 1500 it is.", Scott said, they left the other way and I went back, I have to warn her.

I ran to Hayden, Thomas, and Matthew, "Guys, something is about to happen.", I rushed to them, "What is it ?", Hayden asked, they were standing with Riley, Kelsey, and Andrea. I told them everything and Hayden rushed to the security to complain about it and keep an eye out for the 15th floor, room 100. Its all suites there and luxurious rooms, and its isolated from the rest of the hotel. "I'm going to follow them, you guys keep an eye out for anything else.", I had a head start first to follow them, Hayden, Riley, and Andrea were close by following.

They arrived in front of the room and before it gets to close I blocked the door and I placed a folded paper between the wall and the door and I listened closely.

(Rebecca)

I felt dizzy and weak, I tried moving but I couldn't. I felt something cold wrapped around my wrists and my ankles, I open my eyes and I am chained to a bed with no ways of moving, I groaned a bit, my head hurts, "Good evening beautiful.", a familiar voice said, I look to my right and I see Scott sitting on a chair by the window, I didn't even realize how cold it was until I realized I didn't have my dress on and it was just the girly attire, "What the hell Scott ?!", I tried moving, "Calm down Rebecca.", he placed a hand on my cheek, he backed off and took off his shirt and pants and jumped on the bed next to me, "I am going to show you how to have fun.", he whispered, "Scott, I swear if I free myself from those chains I will whip you with them until you can't move.", I snapped, "Free yourself ? Rebecca you are not going to be released until I am pleased and you paid the price for rejecting me.", he moved his hand from my hair down to my chest, my arms, my legs, I feel disgusted. "Shall we now ?", he got lower and he almost ripped off my underwear until I groaned, "Stop it Scott!", I demanded, "Not until you have fun!", he pulled me by the hair to the side and trailed disgusting kisses down my neck. A minute later Scott is thrown away from me and he was being punched, I saw Riley, Andrea, and Hayden come inside and take off the chains, "Rebecca are you okay ? Did he do anything ?", Riley asked, at this point, I couldn't speak or stand so I just collapsed on the floor next to the bed. Riley and Andrea helped me get dressed and tried calming me down, I look to Scott and he is being punched by Luke. I buried my face in my laps and I tried not crying but I couldn't help it, "Oh my God, Rebecca.", Andrea rubbed my arms, the hotel security barged in later, "Lucas enough!", Hayden pulled Luke away, "Don't ever touch her again!", I heard Luke yell, Scott was taken away and I was taken out of this hideous room. Luke and Hayden took care of interrogations, I was asked a few questions but I was released later.

I had my dress back on and also Riley's coat, after being calmed down for the past 30 minutes I was barley able to walk but I managed, "Rebecca.", Riley called, I stopped mid-way, "Do you want to talk about it ?", she asked, I turned around and faced her with tears streaming down my face, "I just want to be alone right now.", my voice cracked and I went back home. I sat in the car for a minute not knowing what to do, I felt just as violated as when Scott attempted to rape me when I went to his house, I couldn't drive, I couldn't speak. My car was turned on and everything but I couldn't move a muscle. Just then my door opens revealing Luke, "I'll drive you home.", he said, he helped me out of the driver's seat and into the passenger's seat. I noticed he had a huge bruise on his right cheek but it didn't seem to bother him.

I got home and Luke stayed with me like he did before. I took so long in the shower and I came out to see Luke holding an ice pack on his cheek, "Are you okay ?", he asked, I shook my head as a 'no', "Come here.", he pulled me in for a hug, A tear or two streamed down my face and that was it. "I'm so sorry Rebs.", he whispered, "I really am.", he added. He spent the whole night with me, he tried talking to me but I couldn't answer, what will I answer him with anyways ?

Writer's Note: Chapter 18! Scott might be good looking but boy do I hate him in this story, despite the fact that he's a fictional character. Enjoy x
