Chapter 37: Chasing Liberty ?

Can I just stop being in denial of my feelings already ? Can I stop denying my in denial of my feelings ? He's so sweet and caring, he likes to have just as much fun as I would like, he's still helping me despite the fact that I am in denial and I can't let out what deprives me from my sleep because he is the reason why I can't sleep alone at night, he's being so perfect and then there is stupid me denying everything. I swear if other girls knew what goes on between us and the denials they would probably bury me alive. This is the last day for us in Prague before we head to Berlin tomorrow, sad to think this trip is almost over, its just Berlin and Paris, 2 weeks left worth of fun in 2 different cities, can I just drop everything in New York and live somewhere in Europe ? Its so beautiful around here.

We were halfway done with the day, Luke said we were heading somewhere I would like to watch the sunset from. We were walking about some place with grass and some trees around, "You didn't mention hiking here as a part of our trip.", I mentioned to Luke, "We're not here for the purpose of hiking Rebs, you'll see when we reach our destination.", he smiled at me and we continued walking.

We reached a plain area and we sat down on the grass for a minute observing a pretty scene of Prague, "Right, now, we have reached the top of Petrin Hill, a hill in the center of Prague, Czech Republic. It rises some 130 m above the left bank of the Vltava River. The hill, almost entirely covered with parks, is a favorite recreational area for the inhabitants of Prague.", he explained, "We're in a park ?", I asked, "Mmm... Something like it.", he smiled and gestured with his head to the view before us and I was just left in awe. "This is one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen around Europe.", I admitted, "Glad you liked it.", he winked at me.

"Yo Rebs.", Luke called, "Have you watched Chasing Liberty ?", he asked, we were walking around some allies we walked about before, "Yea, why ?", I asked, "You'll know now.", he smiled, and just like before, we were walking aimlessly but Luke seemed to be leading us somewhere. We came to a stop somewhere crowded with a big projector in some corner that played some soap opera, "We are in ?", I asked, "Old Town Square, a historic square in the Old Town quarter of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. It is located between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge.", he explained, "What does it have to do with Chasing Liberty ?", I asked, "Come with me.", he grabbed my hand and we went through a building and up some stairs until we reached the rooftops. We slid down to the other side of the building and we sat down on the extended area of the roof and we watched the soap opera, "I get it now.", I smiled, "You see what I did there ?", he winked, "This is amazing.", I admitted.

We watched the soap opera and I soon began to fall asleep, so Luke offered me to rest my head on his lap and I did. And here comes another Deja Vu, here I am sleeping on Luke's laps and we are listening to a soap opera.

I woke up the next day still on the rooftops, still on Luke's lap, "Luke.", I shook him, it didn't take much time for him to wake up, he already moved, "What is it ?", he yawned, "We slept on the rooftop.", I told him and he just chuckled, "You see what I meant by Chasing Liberty ?", he asked with a smile, God, he looks so cute in the early morning, snap out of it Rebecca, "You ready to go ?", he asked, I nodded.

We were now on the plane going to Berlin, I was still sleepy, and I still overthink too much, "Luke.", I nudged his elbow, "Hmm ?", he looked at me, "I'm still sleepy.", I told him, "If you want to sleep you can just rest your head on my shoulder Rebs, you don't have to ask.", he said, "Sleep.", he whispered and I rest my head on his shoulder, he rest his head on my head, and I grabbed his hand and locked my fingers with his, he would do this move where he would rub his thumb against my hand and it just feels so soothing and so good. I don't know why but doing that makes me feel comfortable, an hour of sleep might not be enough for me but I sure sleep like a baby when I sleep with Luke cuddling me.

Writer's Note: Chapter 37! Well, this was weirdly quick, sorry if its short guys /: Anyways, I forgot to explain something, you're probably wondering why I'm using so many lines after some paragraphs, well, at some points I like to fast forward things, a reason why a chapter is short, and I figured just jumping to another moment with just a space won't do it, so I add those lines ___. So, I will be going out tomorrow from the morning and I don't know when will I get back, but, as soon as I do get back, hopefully its early too, I will be publishing more chapters, and maybe an interesting chapter is coming up soon as well ;) Anywhales, enjoy this chapter x
