This man has to be going all out for my birthday. I have no idea where we're going, I wasn't even allowed to pack. Every time I ask a question he either ignores me or changes the topic. Whenever anyone calls, he takes the call in another room or rejects it. He even changed his passcode so I can't sneak and snoop to see. Honestly, its getting really fucking annoying.
"You ready?" he asked as I was putting on my shoes.
"Yes. Not sure what I'm ready for but I'm ready."
I followed him down the stairs and into the car as we began making our way to the airport.
"Still not telling me where we're going?" I asked looking out at the setting sun.
"You'll see when we get there," he chuckled. "And before you ask, no you cannot guess. Even if you get the right answer I'm saying no."
"Are you going to do this every time we take a trip?"
"Only when it's a surprise. Why do you wanna know so bad like you won't find out tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow?! How long is the flight?!"
"Knowing you, you'll fall asleep an hour into the flight and by the time you wake up, we'll be landing. Just stop worrying about it."
I pouted in my seat before he reached over and grabbed my hand.
"Hey, I promise you it'll all be worth it," he smiled. "You should know that by now."
We spent the rest of the ride in silence until we arrived at the airport. Pluto got out, walking over to open my car door holding a blindfold.
"You cannot be serious," I sneered looking at the blindfold, then at him.
"Dead serious. Come on."
I got out of the car and he placed the blindfold on me, grabbing my hand to lead me through the airport.
"Pluto this is stupid. I can't see where I'm going," I complained, trying to make sure I didn't trip over anything.
"Come on," he said, guiding my hands behind him to his shoulders. "Get on."
"I am not getting on your back. Just take it off until we get there."
"Aaliyah. Get. On."
I let out a loud groan, getting on his back as he continued walking us through. I felt him going up steps, then felt myself being put in a leather seat.
"Where are we? Can I take this off now?"
"On the plane and no. Here."
He handed me my blanket before placing headphones around my ears, startling me. I quickly reached for him in a panic before he grabbed my hand, rubbing the back of it to calm me down. He began playing music through the headphones and put my seatbelt on for me. Shortly after, I felt the plane begin to move. He lifted the armrest between us, gently pulling me towards him to lay on his chest and wrapping his arms around me.

I woke up to complete darkness and a feeling of stillness, feeling Pluto pulling the headphones from around my ears.
"We're here, baby," he said planting a kiss on my lips.
"Great! Can I take this blindfold off now?"
"Nah, not yet," he laughed. "I have a surprise for you. Come on."
He grabbed my hand to lead me off the plane, through the airport and into a car.
"Can I take it off now?" I asked impatiently.
