A lot had happened in the last 3 months. I ended things with Pluto, ignoring his calls and texts for the first couple weeks. I went into grind mode to keep my mind off of him, growing my clientele more and even let Tiff put me on with influencing. I started casually dating a producer, Josh, but that didn't last long. I would be lying if I said I didn't miss Pluto but it was necessary for me to just leave him alone for my mental wellbeing. I saw in the blogs that he started messing with Draya but I knew he was only doing that to get back at me for popping out with Josh. It didn't surprise me that he would pick someone that everybody already had.

Tiff and I met some of the other girls at Phipps to get dinner and do a little shopping and we all decided to go out that night just to have a good time. Once the other girls found out we hadn't been to any of the Atlanta strip clubs since we moved there, they insisted that we go to Blue Flame. Strip clubs really aren't my thing but Tiffany and Patricia were definitely down to see what it was like so I gave in.

We walked into the club to our section, chatting and drinking as we watched the dancers. There were a few Hawks and Falcons players in VIP throwing money all around.

"Lord, I'm getting deja vu," Tiff sighed as she pointed towards the door.

It was my first time seeing Pluto since the day I walked out on him. I still feel bad for doing that but I just didn't feel good about anything he was saying. I shouldn't be the reason you didn't decide not to invite someone over, the thought shouldn't have crossed your mind at all. I was willing to look past the incident with Meg but knowing that he considered calling someone else right after I left just didn't sit well with me.

"I'm just gonna act like I don't see him. It's been months, I'm sure he's over it."

We continued turning up as I occasionally took glances in his direction to see if he noticed I was here. He had dark shades on and never looked in my direction so I assumed he didn't. I went back to pretending like he wasn't there when a group of bottle girls approached with sparklers. We all looked around at each other confused, trying to see who ordered bottle service. Shortly after, I realized that he saw me and decided to send it over so I was aware that he knew I was there.

💔

thanks for the bottle 😘

No worries. U know what's up

I smiled at the message, realizing this was his way of telling me we had unfinished business. Pat handed me a shot, bringing me back to reality. We drank and turned up some more before I glanced over at Pluto's section and saw that he was leaving.

"You know you wanna go!" Tiff teased.

"I'll text you in the morning," I grinned, hugging her and Pat before saying goodnight to the other girls.

I walked outside to the parking lot as fast as I could in these uncomfortable ass YSL heels before I spotted him speaking to some people on his way to the truck. I picked up speed as he opened the door, trying my best to get his attention before he got inside.

"Pluto, wait!" I yelled just before he got in.

He turned around, stepping down before he turned around to face me.

"What's up, shawty?" he asked staring down at me behind dark lenses.

"Thank you again. It was good seeing you."

"Likewise," he replied dryly, keeping a straight face.

"I missed you."

"Coulda fooled me."

"Can you stop being an asshole for one second?"

"I'm the asshole?" he chuckled. "You ignored me then you pop out with a nigga that run in the same circles as me. Come on, shawty."

"I didn't know y'all knew each other. And don't act like you ain't been running around with Draya and whoever else."

"So why you here, Liyah?"

I stood for a moment, really thinking about what he just asked me when I remembered exactly why I left him alone in the first place.

"You know what? You right. You're exactly who they said you were. An emotionless asshole who will tell you whatever you wanna hear to get what he wants."

"And you exactly who you pretended not to be. Glad I see that now."

"The fuck is that supposed to mean?"

"I thought I saw something different in you and you turned out just like everybody else. That's my fault."

"Fuck you, Pluto. I actually cared about you when I was nothing but pussy to you."

"That's what you think?"

"That's what I know. You no different than any other nigga, dogging women because you got your heart broken 10 years ago not caring if they get hurt in the process," I said as tears of anger started to fill my eyes.

"Get in the truck," he gently demanded opening the door.

"No. This was a mistake," I whispered, turning to hide the tears that started to fall. I started walking back towards the club as I wiped tears from my face.

"Aaliyah, come here, baby."

The sweetness in his voice stopped me in my tracks. I turned my head to look at him with sad eyes.

"Don't make me act a fool in front of all these people. Come on," he said, getting in the truck and leaving the door open for me.

I slowly walked over to the truck, watching as he rolled up the partition before getting in and closing the door. Before the driver could even pull off good he came towards me, grabbing me by the back of my neck and pulling me into a deep, passionate kiss. He placed himself between my thighs, wrapping my legs around his waist. We continued kissing, barely coming up for air until we made our way back to his house.

He finally broke the kiss when we arrived, getting out to open my door before throwing me over his shoulder to carry me inside. He carried me up the stairs and into the bedroom, gently laying me down on the bed before he continued kissing me. His hand ran from my thigh to my ass, rubbing and squeezing me as I started undressing him. He broke the kiss to take off his shirt before pulling me to the edge of the bed, sliding my skirt and panties down my legs.

"I'm sorry for making you cry, shawty. But don't forgive me yet because I'm about to do it again."
