If Kai and the others were struggling with the pack's dilemma, TaeGyu also faced their own—but in a different way.
The two had drifted into an awkward silence after the two cuties left, there's an odd tension lingering between them. A simple 'forehead kiss' had sent a jolt through them, and now when they made accidental brush of their skin it made them pull away in instant.

Beomgyu pursed his lips as he washed the dirty worn out clothes in the stream, humming his favorite tune under his breath. He wrung out the fabric, stealing a quick glances at the figure nearby—Taehyun, who's sharpening a knife and his other hunting tools.
The blade gleamed in the fading sunlight, catching the last rays of the sunset. Taehyun lifted it, inspecting its edge, and subtly smiled. He could feel the human boy's gaze were on him, even if the boy tried to be discreet.
He's so cute. Taehyun mused, clicking his tongue. He look toward the human and the boy quickly averting his eyes back to the task at hand.
Beomgyu flushed when he almost got caught, his cheeks bloomed with a soft pink color, making him look even more adorable in the twilight. He cleared his throat, pretending to focus on washing. He hang the clean clothes after, but the breeze tickled his skin, sending a shiver down his spine.
The werewolf, however, had gone hunting for dinner, leaving him alone with his deep thoughts. Though, the fear and loneliness gnawed at him, he had his duties to attend to.
Everything had changed since the night he confessed.
Every time he saw the wolf, the words he longed to say evaporated, leaving him speechless. Shyness tangled his tongue, and it became harder to approach the wolf, to speak the way he used to.
Beomgyu longingly sighed, his eyes following the wildflowers swaying in the meadow. Tonight, the sky was clear, free of fog and clouds, offering an unhindered view of the dark forest. Fireflies were already beginning to appear, flickering like stars among the trees, casting a magical glow over the night.
The wolf returned just then, a freshly caught rabbit slung over his shoulder. He paused, watching the human boy gazing at the sky, lost in thought. The wolf hesitated, unsure if he should break the silence. They hadn't spoken all day, and it felt like the moment had finally come for him to say something.
Beomgyu had always been the one to start their conversations-but maybe tonight, things would be different.
Should I call out to him? Or just let him be?
A small smile tugged at Taehyun's lips as he watched the human boy's small figure standing alone in the middle of the vast meadow.
