SS #3: Water Bottle Troubles

JACK POV:

It's been a day since I kissed Suzune, and we began officially dating. I learned a bit more about Suzune after we began dating. She's someone who never intended to find love at this school, but she did anyway. I asked her when she fell in love with me, and she told me it started after the first study group failed.

I remember that day, it was the day where she had begun to change and realize the errors of her ways. As well as the day I told her I cared about her.

Also, it appears she's what they call a 'Kuudere'. Which means she's super cold and unapproachable most of the time, but deep down has a very loving side.

I can confirm that. She told me that I must always hold her hand. When I asked why she wanted to hold my hand but not any other signs of affection in public, she said some random nonsense that I could see right through.

In reality, she's just embarrassed about her more soft and loving side. And she doesn't wanna show it to anyone else. Which honestly, makes me feel special. However, she still wants to hold my hand so that other girls know I'm taken.

She is surprisingly territorial.

To be honest, I really couldn't say the exact moment I fell in love with her. Maybe it was after I opened up to her on the cruise? No... That's not it, I wouldn't have done that if I wasn't already in love with her. I guess the feelings just grew under the surface.

Man life is weird... I never would've thought I would fall in love with the girl whose first interaction with me, was her complaining about how loud my music was.

I laughed as I remembered the day we met.

It's only been about 5 months since I came here, and I've already changed so much...

I wonder... What else lies ahead? Our second semester starts soon. And after that... Who knows what this school has in store for us? I still have over 2 years left at this school.

If I'm honest, I can't wait to see the person I become, and the people my classmates become. The classmate I'm most excited to see change is Ayanokoji, speaking of, he told me I didn't have to go to the pool if I didn't want to, which I was happy to miss out on.

He told me about what the class perverts were planning, and how he got Karuizawa to help him instead of me... I don't know how I could've helped but whatever.

He's already begun changing ever so slightly, but I want him to change even more for the better. So that he can be happy, he deserves it after all he's been through.

Exactly what he's been through I have no clue, but it was bad enough to turn him into a raging sociopath so... It was probably even worse than my childhood.

As I was playing chess, I received a notification from the school. The message said that the water in the dorms would be temporarily shut off, due to an issue with the water company.

I'll be fine, I still have over a dozen water bottles in my fridge. I went over to my faucet to check and yup, no water came out.

The water probably wouldn't be back on until the early morning. It was around 6, so I decided to make some dinner.

As I was cooking something simple, I was listening to some Kendrick Lamar, but the music was interrupted by my ringtone, only for my ringtone to cease right as I made it over to my phone.

I checked my phone and saw I had received a call from Suzune. I decided to just shrug it off and went back to cooking, as I finished cooking, my phone rang again. Once again it was Suzune, and she stopped calling right as I was about to answer.
