As I walked away from Jack, leaving him in a state that would surely see him have to retire and return to the ship, I began to remember what made me this way.
"Emotions are weak. They serve no purpose. Always think with logic, never emotion, do you understand Kiyotaka?"
"No matter what you must always remember this, to have great power and refuse to use it, is something only a fool would do."
"Liabilities must be eliminated as soon as possible."
"Victory is everything."

(A/N: I will be deviating from the canon White Room a bit. As well as canon Kiyotaka's personality in his childhood. Please keep that in mind as you read)
"It's unbelievable Ayanokoji-sensei! To be able to critically think at just 2 years old is incredible!"
A White Room instructor praised Ayanokoji Atsuomi's son, as the two watched the boy through a one-way mirror.
The boy was sitting on the floor playing with a puzzle toy.
Atsuomi: Give him no special treatment, we need the 4th generation to be a success, even if you must destroy the other children for one to come out on top. Even if you must destroy my son.
The instructor frowned.
"A-are you sure... He is your son..."
Atsuomi glared at the man.
Atsuomi: The boy is my property, I can do with him as I wish, do not question me again.
Atsuomi left and the instructor sighed sadly as he looked through the one-way mirror at Kiyotaka, who had solved the toy puzzle and was now inspecting his hands.

The White Room. An experimentation facility that is hell-bent on proving that one's genetics do not determine whether one becomes exceptional. Headed by a man named Ayanokoji Atsuomi. His goal is to make the White Room's education the main education system in Japan.
To do so, he will spare no effort, no matter how barbaric. The children were often subjected to an inhumane amount of studying and physical training. Many developed emotional problems. However, despite that, Atsuomi pushed forward. Determined to see his dream fulfilled. The dream of putting Japan on top of the world, through his education system.
The man paid a woman named Mika to marry him, and then have a child with him. Mika was given the right to name their baby, and she chose the name 'Kiyotaka' after one of her ex-lovers.
Kiyotaka was born into the White Room as the son of the man who ran it. Which led to him being treated poorly by the other children. Who blamed their suffering on him, due to him being the son of the man who put them all there.
Kiyotaka was always a curious child. His childlike innocence and curiosity could captivate people and make them want to teach him, which led to him learning many things early on from the instructors who took care of him.
