Chapter 27

Aries

"I know I wanted to go on a date." Aries twitched. "But why did it have to be a double date...?"

She was currently standing outside of her boyfriend's car and in there were two troublemakers, both with wide grins.

"Lighten up!" Capricorn cheered. "This is going to be fun!"

"Yeah, Aries!" Saggitarius and Leo said in unison as if they had rehearsed for this exact situation. "This is going to be so fun..." The said once again at the  same time, but in a menacing tone, like twins in a horror movie. It was clear they were plotting something.

Capricorn ignored their very obvious threat, but Aries on the other hand couldn't help, but shake the feeling that something was going to go wrong.

It wasn't exactly targeted at her friends, though the fact that they were acting suspicious was not helping, but more an instinctual feeling of wariness.

She felt a bit worry about her and Capricorn's newfound relationship.

They were very different, which she feared will cause them to fight often in the future.

Being here with Leo and Saggitarius only increased her worries. They were like two peas in a pod, so similar.

And then there was Aquarius and Gemini, though they had their differences, they two were extremely alike. She didn't know wether they were this way in the first place or if they became more resembling as their relationship progressed.

If it was the latter, then Aries was relieved.

If it wasn't, that was fine too. Virgo and Libra are completely different, but they're fine.

But of course, they were an exception.
None of them were overthinkers like she was.

"Aries? Are you alright?" Capricorn whispered worriedly. "You're looking a little tense."

"I'm fine."

"Could you get in the car?"
Aries looked at the driver's seat.

She then pointed at Leo and Saggitarius. "They're not driving, right?"

Capricorn shook his head.

She sighed in relief.

She opened the car door and got in the passenger seat.

Capricorn did the same.

He ran his hand through his pocket only to realize something.

"I might have forgotten the keys." He awkwardly laughed much to Aries' displeasure.

She twitched once again. "How did Leo and Sag get in the car then...?" She asked.

"I'm pretty sure I forgot to lock the door or something..."

There it was. The thing she was so sure would go wrong. But deciding not to be pessimistic, she took three deep breath and let it slide.

"I'll go get the keys and I'll drive." She proposed a solution.

She went into the house and they switched seats.
