Chapter 28

It was still dark at the estate, and Aurora was already awake. Today was an important day: the death anniversary of Paco. She flitted through the house like a whirlwind, issuing orders to the maids, making sure every detail was perfect.
"Loray, pakitawag na lang ako kapag tapos na." she instructed.
Once her tasks were complete, Aurora ascended the grandstairs to the third floor and walked into the bedroom where Amando lay peacefully asleep.
An affectionate smile crept across her face as she crawled toward him, planting gentle kisses on his cheeks and forehead. As if waking from a dream, Amando turned to see who it was, blinking sleep from his eyes.
"Tulong..." he murmured, turning away from her. "May manyak dito..."
Aurora laugh, wrapping her arms around him from behind. "Let's do it." she whispered, her voice teasing.
Instantly, Amando turned to face her, still blinking away sleep. "Ngayon na?"
With a playful smile, Aurora kissed him again. He returned her kisses, but soon, his hands began to explore as they tumbled into a more intimate moment.
In the warmth of their affection, he carefully laid her back on the bed, planting kisses down her jawline and neck. As he reached the buttons of her maroon sleepwear, he felt a rush of excitement.
But as he unbuttoned her top, he noticed that Aurora wasn't moving—she was simply watching him, her eyes filled with affection. He felt a rush of desire and quickly removed her pajama bottoms, leaving only her underwear.
His hands were so quick to unhook her bra and threw it on the floor. He played with her nipple using his thumbs while he kept sucking the other.
Just as he was about to separate her legs, a sudden knock on the door shattered the moment.
"Ma'am Aurora? Tapos na po 'yung utos niyo. Ano pa po gagawin namin?"
Amando's heart sank, disappointment was all all over his face. Aurora burst into laughter, pulling the sheets up to cover herself, her face a mix of amusement and embarrassment.
"Mahal, hindi pa tayo tapos—" he protested, feeling an overwhelming sense of disappointment.
"I'll be back." Aurora winked at him before picking up her clothes and wear it like nothing happened.
With a playful smirk, she left the room with Loray, leaving Amando behind, feeling helpless and yearning for the moment that had so abruptly been interrupted.
Nang magtanghali ay unti-unti na ring dumadating ang mga bisita. It was just like a usual occassion but this gathering was unlike any other. It was a death anniversary of Paco. Some guests were catching up, talking nothing but businesses and money.
Amando on the other hand was busy assisting the guests. He was at the center of the activity, ensuring that everything was running smoothly at the shrine. He coordinated the maids and staff with a practiced ease, managing the flow of guests both inside and outside the shrine.
"Sir, pwedeng pakidala doon sa mesa nina Sir Galvan? Hindi na talaga kaya ng pantog ko." Rico pleaded.
"O siya sige. Bumalik ka kaagad at marami pang mga bisita." Amando replied, taking the bucket of wine and alcohol, making his way to Galvan's table.
As he approached, Galvan stood up, introducing him to the group. "Anyway, this is Amando. My brother-in-law."
The older woman in the group fixed her gaze on Amando, curiosity dancing in her eyes. "Hindi pa naman sila kasal ni Aurora, hindi ba?" she asked, a knowing smile creeping on her lips.
