SERGEANT CHASE

"I need your help Percy." He was the only person I could trust at that moment.

I had no other option. I knew I was not getting out of here alive. I called it upon myself and I felt so disappointed in myself for failing Aidan like that.

"What happened?. Are you okay?" Percy asked in concern.

"Yeah, of course I am. I need your help because you are the only person left to trust." I made sure my voice was low.

We were drinking sitting in our own corner away from other stuff members. It was the night before graduation. Everything was sinking. The second I realized my mistake, I became aware of how bad things were about to be.

"Sure, you can tell me anything" Percy whispered

"I messed up Percy. This system is so fucked up. I don't know how it happened but... I can't do anything to stop these...these people. But my trainees...I can help my trainees" It was hard to admit I lost.

I lost because Commander Military General was in on the deal. I only found out after I sent a coded message to a friend who only replied an hour ago.

The message was for my friend, Rebecca to check on what was happening with the soldiers being taken without their names on record. She told me Commander General is the one who had enough power to pull that off. To make matters worse, he had been receiving money after every 3 months.

He was covering for illegally misleading recruits and it was never on record. All his people were here to make sure this graduation looked real when they were just using it to make sure parents don't figure out where their kids were going.

Two weeks later, they turn up dead.

"Tell me what you need me to do?"

"This is the last copy that is proof that these kids trained here. All their documents and performances. All 250 of them. I want you to submit it to CIA or FBI. Look for Agent Rebecca. She is an honest cop. She knows what to do" I handed him the hard drive under the table.

"Rebecca...?"

"FBI agent Rebecca London. Hide it in your tires or something. Make sure you give her this face to face. It's important" I pleaded.

"You can count on me. I will give it to her. That's the only copy?" Percy curiously asked.

"Yeah. I think you and I are the only people who can be witnesses. I want these kids to get their dream to serve the country. These bastards are selfishly taking that away from all those trainees" I took a sip of my drink.

Percy and I chatted for a while until midnight and I decided it was time to sleep early before these people got me drunk and  incapable of fighting.

I said my goodbyes then went home. I was feeling a little tipsy but nothing I could not handle. When I reached my cabin, I felt this gut feeling.

Something horrible.

Something was not right.

My instinct went to Aidan. I never got inside my cabin. I made way to the mountain grounds where Trainees were celebrating their graduation. They didn't even look for those seven boys who happened to be dead.
