The Unknown Fleet - Chapter 7

- Chapter 7, Enrollment and Chaos, Part One -

...

Back at Uno's house, he's wondering where his workbench crane went, it couldn't have been with Lance because he doesn't have a car... Right? Well, the only way he and Isabelle would know would be to check it out themselves.

Uno: "You know, I think Lance really did get my crane."

Isabelle: "Told you, he probably got it for something... What is that crane for anyway? A car?

Uno: "Yes, it's used for putting engines inside cars."

Isabelle and Uno then start walking to Lance's house, but before that, they went for Lunch in a nearby food shop. Meanwhile, Lance, who has been able to get his FC running, starts realizing that it could be revealing that he has a car, so he stops the engine and covers it back with the cloth once again, probably to try and hide it in sight. He also closes the garage door but leaves the crane outside.

Lance: "Hmm, how can I let this slide by... Maybe I'll bring the crane back to Uno's?"

Cuts to Uno and Isabelle in a food store

Isabelle: "Doesn't it feel nice here, Uno?"

Uno: "Well, the place is fine... But having you here made it better, my dear."

Uno, as always, acts very romantical with Isabelle. But then, as they were about to do a make-out session, like always, until Isabelle sees a very familiar looking man outside the window, carrying Uno's crane.

Isabelle: "Isn't that Lance right there?"

Uno: "Holy shit, it is him!"

Because the door of the store was far, all Uno could do was scream at the window, which is probably another normal behavior of Uno's being.

Uno (through the window): "Lance! We're here! Please look here! Kraken! Mitsubishi Lancer!! Lonely Driver!!!"

Lance can hear distinct screaming, but not enough to take his notice.

Isabelle: "Uno, I think you should just go outsi-"

Uno: "Clance!!!!"

Lance instantly pointed his attention to that voice, and into the window of the store.

Lance: "What did you say!?"

Lance starts bringing the crane over his head and then throws it into the window.

Isabelle: "(Nope, I'm outta here!)"

Isabelle exits her chair and Uno is now alone at the area the crane was gonna hit!

Uno: "Eh!?"

Crane collides with glass

Uno: "Wuah-"

The crane smashes through the glass and lands on top of Uno, he wasn't injured, but was severely traumatized.

Lance: "...I think I went too far, didn't I?"

Isabelle: "Only for once, I'd agree I'll accept Uno being given his medicine."

Uno: "What the actual fuck, Lance!"

Lance: "I ain't lonely my man, I just don't have good fortune."

Then from how chaotic that was, the owner all of a sudden appears, Lance is surely screwed!

Store Owner: "What is the meaning of this!?"

Lance noped out of there instantly, but the owner immediately chased after Lance.

Store Owner: "You think you're getting away asshole!?"

Lance: "Shit, he's fast!"

Lance tries looking for something to stop the man from dragging his rear to clean up the mess. He finds a pile of boxes at the market, Lance knocks them over to try and stop the man.

Lance: "Take this!"

The boxes fell and then collided with the Store Owner and inevitably gave up chasing Lance. For sure, he's gotten in trouble for that, but you have to admit, a clever way of stopping a chase instantly.

Cuts back to the destroyed store

Isabelle: "You alright Uno?"

Uno: "Why yes, I am, but Lance seriously was pissed with that kind of statement."

Isabelle: "That's why you shouldn't really make him mad."

Uno: "Maybe, but I'd still bet on those Twin Towers in 2001 being destroyed."

Isabelle: "Shall we go after Lance? You should apologize to him."

Uno: "We gotta hurry!"

Both of them start looking for Lance, the best way would probably be the school or his house. But Lance actually went to Sherwin's apartment, where he was waiting for Lance ironically.

Sherwin: "Yo Lance, why do you look tired?"

Lance: "Long story short, I destroyed a food store's window and the owner chased me..."

Sherwin: "Goddamn, this is just our second day here in Japan, and you're already causing a mess!"

Lance: "Well, that's how chaotic my instincts can be, now let's look for those two lovebirds."

Sherwin: "Uno and Isabelle?"

Lance: "I mean, they're the only couple."

Lance and Sherwin headed off to look for Uno and Isabelle. Unironically, they met instantly after both men rounded a corner.

Isabelle: "There you are! With Sherwin as well."

Uno: "Sup, Sherwin, Lance got you an apartment?"

Sherwin: "Yup, and we didn't have to pay."

Isabelle: "How did Lance get you into an apartment without paying?"

Uno: "Lance's Logic."

Sherwin: "Uno's correct, Lance seduced the Desk Manager."

Everyone looks at Lance

Lance: "Why? I have no money." 

Uno: "Bro, chill out, also, I'm sorry that I called you 'that' world earlier."

Lance: "I'd forgive you because you're my closest friend, but don't say that again."

Isabelle: "Alright, both you forgave each other. Now, shall we head out to enroll?"

Uno: "Yes."

Lance: "I haven't eaten lunch ye-"

Sherwin: "Let's go! So we don't need to do anything tomorrow."

Lance: "(I just want to eat..)"

The 4 headed to the school they'll be in for... How many years to come? It's a lot to count. And Lance deserves starving after throwing Uno's crane to the poor Owner's store.
