- Chapter 16 - It's Your Fault! -

We would arrive the next day, like always, it's a very hot summer, especially for 1993! The time is around 5:34 AM, and Lance couldn't sleep properly after he used the toilet at 1 AM earlier, he's sleep-deprived. How will he learn Mathematics today!? Or even Japanese!?

Lance: "Ahh... Erm... I just can't sleep! Why didn't I piss earlier before I slept? After my challenge to that Ninomiya guy..."

sighs

"Might as well get ready for school..."

Lance got up from his futon, got it made up, and went to the bathroom to shower. While that was happening, Uno woke up from his Futon, he completely forgot he and Isabelle made a fort before they slept.

Uno: "Heh... I'll be sad that this fort will be disassembled for the room to be tidy, but I enjoyed relieving my youth, even for a night."

At that same moment, he realized Isabelle was the first one up, normally he would be.

Uno: "Eh? She's up before me?"

Uno got up from his futon, got through the fort, and went outside the room. To his surprise, Isabelle somehow sleepwalked from the room to the living room.

Uno: "(Damn, close call, if she continued any further, she could've been outside!)"

At that exact moment, Isabelle woke up.

Isabelle: "...Huh...? W-why am I here on the sofa?"

Uno: "I guess you sleep walked. I'm relieved your dream didn't bring you anywhere outside!"

Isabelle: "I guess... I was dreaming that I was being stalked by this person... Then he started chasing me! Luckily, you appeared from your garage and you didn't show any mercy to him."

Uno: "Anything to keep my sweety safe. If that happens, he's sent to the shadow realm."

Isabelle: "Haha! You're so sweet Uno..."

They both laughed and got themselves ready for school. Alright, where's Sherwin? We haven't been mentioning him for a while.

Actually, Sherwin's doing good. He's at his apartment looking at the window, playing his guitar or listening to music when he's bored. He isn't aware that the mountain pass is currently being attentive to Lance's challenge, or Lance even revealing he got an FC RX-7. Aside from that, Sherwin is now ready for school, he's just eating his breakfast.

Sherwin: "I wonder how the others are doing... Haven't heard of them in a while."

After eating his breakfast, he got out of his apartment and headed downstairs to get his bike, meeting the desk manager like always.

Sherwin: "I'll be headed off."

Desk Manager: "Alrighty!"

Sherwin unchained his bike, and started pedaling to school. Along the way, he met Lance walking down the street.

Sherwin: "Yo! Lance!"

Lance: "Yo, Sherwin! Been a few days, how you doin'?"

Sherwin: "All good, just askin' if anything's been happening."

Lance: "Well... There's me getting the F-14 keychain and giving it back to Uno... Me ordering aviation magazines... Bringing my FC to Izu Skyline... Oh wait."

Sherwin: "Hey, that's really goo- Wait... What was that?"

Lance: "Me ordering aviation magazines?"

Sherwin: "No, the other one."
