- Chapter 19 - 7000 vs 9000! Part Two -

...

We cut a few days after that rainy day... It's now a lazy Saturday, and it's an average morning in Kannami-cho. Lance practiced up and down for the past 5 days in Izu, so... Maybe he's ready for the challenge? His driving isn't perfect to say so... But he's probably gonna have a chance to catch up.

But, that's later at night, right now, it's still the morning, everyone still needs to do their thing. So to pass time, the 3 dudes hang out at Uno's place.

Uno: "Ain't that ironic, Lance is about to head to his first race tonight."

Sherwin: "I still can't believe his Father was a racer though... Like damn Lance, cool Father!"

Lance: "Don't praise him that much. He's rather slow."

Sherwin: "You might end up eating those words later on in life."

Lance: "Nah, he's done racing, I don't know what's the reason for that though."

Uno: "He's old, and he needs to take care of his smaller Kraken, that is you."

Lance: "I ain't a difficult kid to take care of!"

Sherwin: "Yes you are."

Uno: "Okay, chill before another argument."

Isabelle: "You three want something to eat?"

All 3: "Sure."

Isabelle went inside to get some ice cream, it's a very hot day again, so much for it being a July.

Lance: "Sheesh, and when I thought back at home it was hot..."

Sherwin: "This is probably the spirit of our Filipino blood bringing the weather here."

Uno: "Nah boys, we're just too hot."

Lance almost choked on his ice cream, not because of what Uno said, but what he saw down the street.

Sherwin: "What is Lance?"

Lance: "Don't you see that!?"

Uno: "What the fuck do you see?"

Lance: "...Your 32's wheel on a runaway."

Uno: "The fuck!?"

Uno's mesh rims somehow got separated from the car and is now rolling down onto the road."

Lance: "Get it before it goes boy!"

Uno: "Come back back over 'ere!"

Uno sprinted to the wheel, managing to catch it in time, but then he almost got run over by a car.

Car driver: "Watch where you're going!"

Uno: "You too! Letter F-U-C-K-U!"

The car driver reversed out of there in pure rage and went on to the other side of the road.

Uno: "Hmph! That's why you should always go slow!"

Lance: "...Didn't you cross the street without looking left or right?"

Uno: "Meh, that's normal."

Lance: "Your choice."

After Uno's near death experience again, the time passes over to Lunch. They finally were given balances by their parents via mail, so Lance can finally buy some food to prepare.

Lance: "I'll go prepare some Curry... Or maybe some Sukiyaki."

Lance decides to go for Sukiyaki, meanwhile, Uno tries eating some salad, and ironically, he actually enjoys it. If he were to be his younger self, he'd probably avoid eating it.
