The Unknown Fleet - Chapter 17

- Chapter 17 - The Movement! -

...

It's so early in the morning and Lance and Sherwin argued again... This time, over Lance's RX-7! Then an unexpected Lance and Olivia moment, and then as Lance tried hiding his obvious crush, it started raining, sending Lance and Sherwin in the rain. But after all that, they went to school, and headed for their classroom.

Lance: "Hurry up boy! We'll be late!"

Sherwin: "If we didn't argue that is!"

Both men sprinted upstairs to their class, leaving a trail of water behind them. 

Uno: "Well, shit. It's God pissing on us again."

Isabelle: "Don't disrespect our Lord like that! That's the result of the really hot weather this morning!"

While Uno and Isabelle were talking, Uno's fanbase, for some ironic reason, were talking behind his back.

Ryoko: "Ugh! I can't stand that Isabelle!"

Sayuki: "Can't he just dump her and choose one of us!?"

Sakura: "Hey, here's some pics of him in the shower!"

Unbeknownst to Uno's fanbase, Lance and Sherwin, who was behind them listening, were skeptical.

Sherwin: "Why are they taking pictures of my man in the shower!?"

Lance: "Dunno, but whatever it is, I'll not be involved in whatever this could be."

Lance stood up from the desk behind and walked to his seat, to which Olivia was already in front.

Lance: "Aw damn, here goes my struggles again... But seriously, why won't I ask Olivia if she wants to be my woman?"

Lance... Don't you realize you can just impress her? Why not try it on Saturday?

Olivia: "So this goes here... Then x2 becomes x..."

Lance: "(Doing her math as usual... Wonder where she lives. Definitely a higher class, not only from her beauty, but from her pure goddamn knowledge!)"

Door slides open

Ikeda: "Take your seats!"

Satoshi: "Not again..."

Lance: "He's surely no fun, ain't he?"

Satoshi: "Y'can say say that again, he's been like this for years!"

Ikeda: "Say whatever you want from me... But I'm the one calculating your grades, you know?"

Lance: "Yes, Sensei."

Satoshi: "Yes..."

Uno: "Ah yes, mathematics, my specialty!"

Isabelle: "You've gotten honors since we were in 1st year high school!"

Uno: "Blame my head for that! I'm too good."

Sherwin: "There's Uno boasting again."

Lance: "Normal, he's been like that since we've been in the 4th year elementary."

Satoshi: "You dudes seriously are something, probably even wilder than us!"

Lance: "We've been in a different kind of household compared to y'all, so it makes some sense."

Olivia: "But... Can I be included?"

Satoshi: "Y-yeah? Olivia-chan?"

Olivia: "I'm in a higher level family than all of you... Can I still be counted in your group?"

Lance: "We don't have any group Olivia-chan, so you're free to do whatever!"

Lance smiled while talking with Olivia :)

Sherwin: "Say Lance... Mind if I reveal it?"

Lance: "I beg you, please no"

Olivia: "What is the 'secret'... Ilin-san?"

Sherwin: "Hohoho! You're gonna be looking at Lance with this one..."

Lance: "PLEASE NO!"

Sherwin: "Lance has...!"

Lance was essentially overreacting at this point. His hyperventilation is being synced with the rain outside the window.

Sherwin: "Lance has... A car!"

Lance: "WAH!"

Lance falls to the ground in the unexpected answer.

Olivia: "Oooooh... What is it? Cortez-san?"

Lance: "I have an old Mazda..."

Sherwin: "Yep, a Mazda."

Olivia: "Nice! My Father told me about some kind of 'street racing'... Do you do that kind of thing, Cortez-san?"

Lance: "No, not yet that is."

Olivia: "Hmm... Just be careful when you drive!"

Lance has done it... He finally got a proper conversation with Olivia.

Lance: "(Hell yes... This is going to plan!)"

Sherwin: "(Why is Lance smirking... He's enjoying the conversation!"

Olivia: "Say... Are you in some kind of relationship right now, Cortez-san?"

Lance: "I? Me? N-no... Not yet."

Olivia: "I see..."

Satoshi (whispering): "Go for it boy!"

Sherwin (whispering): "You're gonna do it?"

Lance: "Erm... I think we should look at the board..."

Satoshi and Sherwin: "Eh?"

Looks behind

Ikeda: "..."

Lance and Olivia ducks behind their seat

Ikeda: "STAND IN THE HALL!!"

Isabelle: "Not again... And with Olivia this time!"

Uno: "Ah yes, Lance is making a harem though."

A few seconds later...

Lance: "This is your fault again!"

Sherwin: "What did I do!?"

Satoshi: "You got the four of us here!"

Lance: "You bastards! You actual idiots!"

Satoshi and Sherwin: "WHAT DID YOU CALL US!?"

Lance: "Oh, shi-"

Insert brutal noises

Olivia: "Erm... Please stop! You're hurting him!"

The 3 men stop fighting

Sherwin and Satoshi: "Ahahaha! We meant to wrestle with Lance! Not to kill him!"

Olivia: "Alright! :)"

Once again, Olivia saves Lance's ass from getting beaten up, but what's that supposed to mean? And why is there a photo of Uno in the shower!?
