Back in Tsubaki Line... Lance and Sherwin, who are using relatively slower cars, are about to race against a KPGC110 and a DR30, now for more info on the cars...

The Nissan KPGC110 is a short-lived Skyline that was only produced in 1972 until 1973... Really short, right? This exact car that Kenji would be driving is the 67th built, out of the 197. Really good find if you ask me.

Then, we have the Nissan DR30, the one that Kousuke is driving. The DR30 was a really rare but at the same time, normal sight in the Wangan scene of racing back in the 80s and 90s. Mostly known as the "Iron Mask", it really lives up to its name, with it having a really tunable FJ20 engine.

Kousuke: "Hurry up, we don't want to delay this race!"

Kenji: "Line your cars up now!"

Lance and Sherwin, who were revving their car engines at the time, just finished so they put down their handbrakes, and started rolling to the start.

The AE86's 4-AGEU was a really good engine for its time. Although the 86 was made to be a normal compact 80s Toyota... It somehow got its popularity around the late-80s, especially because of Tsuchiya Keiichi's film of "Pluspy". Rallying was also popular with the 86, equipped with mud flaps and a short gear ratio, the AE86 was extremely competitive with Group A rallying... So, Sherwin has a really good car.

Anyway, both cars line up behind the Skylines, then Lance gets out of his car to talk with Kenji. He then talks about if they could get the lead in a few corners.

Lance: "Hey, about the race... Mind if me and the 86's driver get the lead at some corners?"

Kenji, acknowledged this question of Lance's, because he thought that he and Sherwin were just new to the course.

Kenji: "Oh, sure, just go all out however."

Lance: "Alright."

Kousuke, who is a really grumpy dude, yells out if the race could begin already.

Kousuke: "What the fuck are we waiting for!? Start the race!"

Kenji: "Hehe... Don't judge my buddy here, he's like that."

Lance: "Hmm... Okay."

Lance was beginning to have an idea on how he or Sherwin could win, he then walks to Sherwin's 86, and begins telling him the strategy.

Lance: "(He's always grumpy... Maybe I have an idea!)"

Walks to Sherwin's 86

Lance: "I have an idea."

Sherwin: "What is it?"

Lance: "You see how that R30 guy is always angry?"

Sherwin: "Yeah?"

Lance: "You go handle Kenji, and I handle Kousuke. I will pressure him till he makes a mistake, is that a good one?"

Sherwin: "Ooohhh, nice idea."

Lance then pats the 86's roof for good luck, then heads for his own FC. As he enters, he fastens his seatbelt, and along with Uno in the passenger seat.

Uno: "Boy, how are you and Sherwin gonna win here?"

Lance: "I dunno... But I have a plan, and what's the plan? Watch what will happen."

Uno: "(Shit, I may need to buckle up.)"

Acceleration member: "The countdown will start in..."
