The Unknown Fleet - Chapter 6

- Chapter 6, The Calm Before The Storm -

One early morning over at the Winter/Star residence. Uno woke up at around 4:30 AM, He got off the bed where he and Isabelle were sleeping. He made sure that he didn't disturb her peaceful slumber. He went to the mini-bar that's in the opposite room near the bedroom. He pulled out a bottle of cola, made it like how he would make some liquor then placed it in a shot glass. He downed the beverage, pulled out a pen and paper and wrote:

"I'm in the garage working on the car. I made you a drink. Enjoy, my sweet Darling Belle.

- From your good boy fox, Uno."

He walked back to the bedroom, placed it on her bedside then walked to the garage.

Uno: "Damn, Grandfather literally knows what I want. And hey, is that a GT40 Mark II chassis? Well, it's time to modify that."

The time is now 8 AM, Isabelle awoke to not seeing her beloved Ginger blue eyed boyfriend. But instead she read the note. She dawned on a hoodie and socks, and walked to the mini bar, drank the beverage, then went up to the garage to check up on her boyfriend.

Isabelle: "Hey Uno. How's my sweet boyfriend?"

Uno: "Doing well. In fact, I found this shell. Now I'm just measuring the chassis to make my own body."

Isabelle: "Can I help? I want to help you fix up the GT40. So that I can learn more about cars."

Uno: "Sure, you can work on the buying of the steel needed."

Isabelle: "So, about the enrollment?"

Uno: "What about it?"

Isabelle: "I was thinking we check the school once we enroll. So we can go on a school date."

Uno: "Sure, we can do that. And I was also planning on doing that anyway."

While Uno and Isabelle were discussing what school they should enroll in, Lance woke up relatively earlier than what time he normally wakes up back in the Philippines, which was 5:30 AM. He was sleeping in the futon that was conveniently placed in the wardrobe in his bedroom.

Lance: "I completely forgot I'm in a different country, might as well get ready for the weekend."

Lance got up from his futon and made his breakfast, and coffee apparently. Once he finished eating and drinking, he would then get his jacket near the front door and start to go for a walk down the town.

Lance: "Damn, really quiet while early in the morning here compared to back at home."

While walking, he happens to encounter Uno's house. He greets both Uno and Isabelle a good morning.

Lance: "Yo, bad morning."

Uno: "Ey, up! Mitsubishi Lancer."

Isabelle: "Morning Lance!"

Lance: "I'm telling you for the thousandth time, I'm not a Lancer, I'm a weapon."

Uno: insert maniacal laughing here

Isabelle: "Sorry about my boyfriend, Lance. He has a lot of work right now."

Lance: "I understand that, he's normally like that, and I won't mind, have a good day to both of y'all."

But before Lance heads off, he asks one more question.

Lance: "Hold up, we should probably meet later at Lunchtime so we could enroll at school."
