Parasitica

The Shellraiser drives down the street, everyone focused except for Mikey, who was spinning around in his chair in boredom.

Mikey sighs, "Mm..." he sighs again, "Another day, another Kraang hunt." he glances over at Raph, a smile forming on his face. He then grabs the hothead's shoulders, spooking him, "Hey, Raph! Fire the weapons!"

"I don't think so." Raph told him.

"See, that's your problem. If I was in charge of weapons, I'd be firing at things all the time. That mailbox, blam. That newsstand, boom. That port-a-potty, splat."

"And that's why you're not in charge of the weapons." Leo voices.

"Here, Michelangelo. Take these. I can tell you're bored." Kaida tosses him a jar of some kind of gummies.

"Awesome! Thanks, Kai!"

"You're welcome."

"Now get back to your station and tell me which way to go." Leo commands.

Mikey goes back to his seat, popping the jar open and putting a gummy in his mouth as he checks the map, "Hmm. Okay. Uh, you should turn right...three blocks ago."

Everyone groans at this.

Mikey's eyes water from the gummy, "These are so good! What's in them, Kai? They're sweet with a bit of a kick."

"It's a snack I share with April. If we are in the mood for something sweet, but don't want anything too sweet, we eat these. We call them honey wasabi gummies." Kaida smiles.

Mikey's eyes widen, "Oh, that's why! Guys, when you get the chance, try one of these! They are so good!"

The Shellraiser pulls into an alley, the five sneaking out.

"This must be the hidden Kraang lab." Donnie says.

Raph has his fists up, ready for a fight, "Let's trash the place!"

"Hold on, Raph. This is a recon mission. We go in there, find out what the Kraang are up to, and then trash the place." Leo told him.

"Fine. Wake me when we get to the trashing part."

Kaida walks in first, "Well, Raphael, you're really not gonna like this."

The others go in after her.

"Oh, man. Someone beat us to it." Raph complains as Kaida kneels down to some broken canisters on the floor.

"It looks like one of their mutagen experiments got away from them." Leo observes.

Donnie looks at the pictures on the wall, "Seems they were doing experiments on arthropods. Weird."

Mikey gets in a chair and starts spinning around, "Yoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-ha!"

Donnie opens a cabinet, "Hey, this equipment's still good." he spots a centrifuge that was in good condition, "Whoo-hoo-hoo. Nice centrifuge." he starts rummaging through the cabinet.

Raph turns to Leo and Kaida, "If I ever get that excited about a centrifuge, just put me out of my misery."

"You got it." Kaida holds up her shikomizue.

Mikey holds a Kraangdroid head before hearing something and looking up, "Hmm? Hey, Donnie, how big do you think one of those arthropods might be?"

"Well, a bee is about 4 millimeters, and a wasp would be 6." Donnie explains.

"Why do you ask?" Kaida adds.

"Then what the heck is that?!" Mikey points towards the ceiling, the others looking up in alarm as a giant mutant wasp reveals itself and flies towards them.
