The Shellraiser turns jerkily through the streets.
"Take a right. No, left! Left!" Donnie shouts out as the Shellraiser hits some trashcans.
"Um, Donnie, maybe you can tell me before we pass the street." Leo says.
"I'm sorry, Leo. There's still so many mutagen canisters out there, my tracker is having trouble zeroing in on a single reading." Donnie explains.
"If it helps, I could use the daytime tou our advantage to find mutagen canisters so we don't have as many to find later on." Kaida suggests.
"Oh, that would be great, Kai. Thank-Oh, turn right!" Donnie exclaims as Leo turns, the brothers screaming a bit.
"Whoa, I think I just got shell-lash!" Raph comments.
Suddenly, Mikey screams. The others look back to see him reading a comic book with a frightful look.
"Hey, Mikey? You wanna stop reading your comics and pay attention to the mission?" Leo asks.
"Here, let me see." Kaida takes the comic book from him.
"Hey! That comic's in mint condition! Don't mess it up!" Mikey told her.
"Oh, I understand, Michelangelo." the ravenette told him before reading the cover, "Terror Science and Fear...Tales From The Cosmos?"
"Great. Another horror story." Raph puts his hands on his hips, "Guess who's gonna be up all night again?"
"Michelangelo, really?" Kaida raises an eyebrow.
"What? No! I was up all night 'cause I was..." Mikey thinks for a moment before lying, "polishing my grappling hook."
"Mhm." the ravenette looks unfazed.
"Right. Seriously, Mikey? What are those horror comics good for other than freaking you out and-"
Donnie's tracker makes a noise, "Got one! Stop here."
Leo pulls to a stop as Donnie puts on some goggles to see small prints of mutagen on the ground outside.
"My ooze specs are picking up a mutagen trail. Come on!" Donnie takes out a gadget to grab the possibly broken canister with and runs off as the others follow him.
"Remember, this might be another trap, so we need to be careful." Leo told them as Donnie moves ahead, the others following after him before Mikey accidentally steps on a bag of popcorn.
"Some ninja." Raph comments.
"Guys, over here!" Donnie calls out as he uses his gadget to pick up a broken mutagen canister, some of the mutagen still inside, "It's half empty, but one more mutagen canister recovered."
A man could be heard screaming, the others turning to Mikey first.
"Wasn't me."
"Hold on." Kaida takes out her tessen and turns the corner to see a homeless man whimpering at the sight of a squirrel, "Huh?"
"Why's that dude afraid of a cute, tiny, little squirrel?" Raph asks.
Suddenly, the squirrel hisses at them with a long skinny tongue, making the five hold onto each other and scream in fear. The squirrel then jumps into the man's mouth, causing him to pass out.
"Now can I scream in horror?" Mikey asks as Kaida nods slowly.
...
"Dudes, this is a terrible idea." Mikey comments as Leo and Raph were carrying the homeless man and Donnie was carrying the broken mutagen canister, "This is exactly how the alien got onto the ship in my comic book."
