Author’s Note:
Hey there, readers! Just a quick heads-up – these next few chapters follow Inaya’s thrilling (well… sort of) hospital adventures. Yes, it’s mostly about check-ups, shots, and all that medical jazz, so it might feel like a bit of a snooze-fest compared to the rest of the story. If hospitals aren’t your thing, feel free to skip ahead! You won’t miss anything critical to the plot. But if you’re here for Advik’s unique brand of "bedside manner," there might be some gems you’ll enjoy. Happy reading (or skimming)!

As Advik sat in the car, a storm of anger and worry brewed within him. How dare Inaya run away with a boy? It was reckless and foolish, and he couldn’t believe she would put herself in such danger. But right now, her injuries were his priority. He kept silent, his jaw clenched, focusing on the road ahead.
When the car finally pulled up in front of the hospital, it was nearly 2 AM, and the usually bustling place was quiet, with only a few staff members around. Without a word, Advik unbuckled Inaya and lifted her up, ignoring her protests. He could feel her trembling against him, but he was resolute.
As they entered, a few night staff members recognized him, offering quiet greetings.
"Just get us to a private cabin," he replied curtly, his voice leaving no room for discussion.
Once they were inside a private room, Advik gently set Inaya down on the examination bed, his expression stern. Karan, his colleague and close friend, entered just behind them. "What happened?" he asked, concern etched across his face.
"She ran away with some boy," Advik snapped, his voice thick with frustration. Inaya shivered at the intensity. "Now, we’re dealing with her injuries."
Karan raised an eyebrow, sensing the tension in the air. "Let’s focus on getting her treated first."
A nurse entered, clipboard in hand. "Dr. do you need any help?
"Yes," he said, pinning her with a commanding look. "I need you to change her clothes without aggravating her injuries."
Karan glanced at Inaya's hand, his expression darkening. "Here, a bad injury in her finger."
Inaya looked at him, confusion and fear mingling in her eyes. "But Bhaiyya, I—"
"Enough!" Advik cut her off sharply. "Point out where it hurts, other than your hand. I need to know exactly what we’re dealing with."
Inaya winced but complied, gesturing to her side where she had been scraped. "It hurts here, too."
Advik’s expression softened for just a moment before he steeled himself again. "Karan, can you check her other injuries? I want to make sure there’s nothing we’ve missed."
"On it," Karan replied, moving to Inaya’s side.
The nurse hurried to find suitable clothes, and Advik kept his gaze fixed on Inaya.
The nurse returned with a fresh gown, As Inaya sat on the examination bed, she struggled against the nurse's attempts to change her clothes, her face flushed with embarrassment and fear. "No! I can do it myself!" she cried, pushing the nurse’s hands away.
Advik’s frustration boiled over. “Stop it!” he barked, stepping closer with a scissor in hand. “This is not the time to be stubborn.” Without waiting for her response, he forcefully cut her t-shirt from the front, the fabric falling away to reveal her injuries.
Inaya gasped, her eyes wide with shock. “Bhaiyya, no! I—”
“You’re not making this any easier on yourself.” he snapped, his tone leaving no room for argument.
