Hours later, the sun had fully risen, casting a warm glow across the room. Advik woke first, stretching slightly as he felt the soft weight of Ruhani next to him. He glanced at the clock and realized it was already past 10 AM.

“Ruhani,” he murmured, nudging her gently. “It’s time to wake up, sleepyhead.”

She stirred, her eyelids fluttering open as she blinked against the brightness. “What time is it?” she mumbled, still half-asleep.

“Way past breakfast time,” he teased, watching as she fought to shake off the remnants of sleep. “You need to eat something.”

Ruhani groaned, pulling the blanket over her head in protest. “Five more minutes, please?”

Advik rolled his eyes playfully as knowing full well that it could easily turn into another hour. “Fine, but I’m checking on Inaya first,” he replied, standing up and heading towards the door. “And then I’m having a bath. After that, you’re going in the washroom. I don’t want you staying on an empty stomach any longer, got it?”

Ruhani mumbled something incoherent, still half-asleep, which made Advik chuckle. He walked out of their room and headed to Inaya’s room, where he found her sleeping soundly, her little chest rising and falling gently beneath the blanket. A wave of relief washed over him as he observed her peaceful face. He brushed a few stray hairs off her forehead and placed a light kiss on her head, ensuring she was comfortable.

Satisfied that she was okay, he returned to their bedroom, feeling a bit more awake himself. He quickly slid into the washroom, appreciating the solitude for a moment as he turned on the shower. The sound of the water cascading down felt refreshing, and he took a moment to gather his thoughts.

As the steam began to fill the small space, Advik let the warmth envelop him, shaking off the remnants of sleep and stress. He quickly washed up, letting the water wash away any lingering worries from the previous day.

As Advik emerged from the washroom, the bathroom door swung open, and Ruhani’s breath hitched in her throat. There he stood, a vision of unintentional allure—water still glistening on his toned six-pack, droplets cascading down his chiseled chest and defined abs. The towel wrapped around his waist hung dangerously low, teasing her with just a hint of what lay beneath. His hair was damp, tousled, and perfectly framing his striking features.

Ruhani wrapped herself tighter in her duvet, suddenly feeling a rush of warmth that had nothing to do with the blanket. Her heart raced as she took in the sight of her husband, who, despite his playful demeanor, had a presence that was undeniably magnetic. She couldn’t help but admire him—the way the water accentuated his physique and the confident smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.

“Stop gawking at me,” Advik said with a teasing grin, breaking Ruhani out of her trance. The playful tone in his voice pulled her back to reality, and she felt a rush of shyness flood her cheeks.

She quickly hid her face in the duvet, her heart racing as she tried to collect herself. “I wasn’t gawking!” she protested, muffled by the fabric, though she couldn’t suppress the smile creeping onto her lips.
