Back to the Future

Chapter 17

A/N: This is kind of just a flashback to the future and doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the story. It's really short but I really think it's cute. If you don't want to read it, you won't miss out on anything, but seeing as a lot of this story is SoKeefe fluff, I'm hopeful most of you will read it!! 

Sophie finally had a break from her elite levels. It was her last year and there was so much work but she finally got a week off. She got to sleep in her own bed and got to wake up to Edaline's breakfast. It was amazing. The only thing that was missing was Keefe. They normally would spend time in each other's dorms before bed and sometimes Sophie would fall asleep in his room. She missed seeing him but knew if Keefe tried to stay late at night at her house Grady would come in and beat him with a bat.

As much as she loved home, Edaline wanted to know everything about everything and Sophie was taking a little break walking along the cliffs enjoying the ocean air.

It was peaceful, and then she heard yelling, "Sophie Elizabeth Foster!" It was coming from below her. She looked over the edge and saw Keefe flying up on Silveny's back. He reached her level and started speaking again, "I have something I have to ask you!" He yelled over the wind. Then Silveny started rising, "No, Glitterbut, stop it. Stay here I need to ask my girlfriend an important question. I thought you agreed that you would be good because you love Sophie and want her to say yes!"

Silveny whinnied and then started doing flips in the air. Within seconds Keefe was falling, "Fooooster!! Save me!

Sophie sighed and with a run and a brain push she was jumping off the cliff to grab Keefe in the air. She opened the void and dropped them onto the grass by the cliff. Sophie was laying on top of him and Keefe was laughing in between gasping breaths.

"That," laugh, "was" gasp, "amazing!"

Sophie rolled her eyes, "You're an idiot,"

"Yes, but this idiot has to ask you something,"

Sophie smiled, "Yeah I remember you yelling at Silveny about it,"

"Glitterbutt ruined everything," Keefe wined. Sophie moved to roll off of him, but he grabbed her shoulders stopping her, "Ok, well this isn't as extravagant as I wanted. But, Foster, will you make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me?"

Sophie's eyes widened in shock, "Really? You want to marry me?"

"Do you really think I just rode an alicorn because why not?" Keefe paused, "Wait actually that does sound like something I would do. So yes, yes I want to marry you and be with you for eternity. We are in our last year of the elites so when we get out we could get married and then buy a house to live together. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm really hopeful you say yes."

Sophie smiled, her mouth was so wide it was almost hurting, "Yes, yes to marrying you, yes to living together, yes to the eternity with you." She kissed him, "Wait, did you ask my dad?"

"If I asked you to get married and didn't get permission from Grady, I would have been brutally murdered."

"Good point," Sophie grinned and kissed him again.
