It had been sometime since our parents died. It's like a whole different world, knowing what's truly out there. I've decided to become a demon slayer but for what reason, I don't really know. Is it revenge, is it for protection, or is it just something else completely. Ever since my sister and I were saved i've had many thoughts on what I should do. All I know is I need to protect my sister. I need her with me. We only have each other after all. As the years passed i've grown to have a special technique. I call it Flower breathing, a special technique i've created on my own. Since becoming a flower hashira i've learned so much and grown. As for my sister she has always been very smart but she can be very stubborn. She tends to always have a stern attitude whereas I keep smiling. I always try to tell her to smile more. I've done the same with Sae. When I helped Mr. Rengoku save her a while back she was so distraught and unhappy. She eventually came around and smiled more often. Come to think of it, I always noticed she smiled more around Suyoshi. That kid was very sweet and to put it nicely, dumb. The day he died brought out the best in her. She became a great demon slayer. Better than Kyojuro I think but I won't say that to anyone. She is my Best friend and i'm glad to have met her. Sae and I were just having a sweet conversation while Shinobu was helping Kanao with her reading. "So Kanae anything new? I know you've been trying to work out a new type of medicine, how's that going?" I basically told Sae everything going on in my life just as she does with me. She even told me all about Sanemi. He also talks about Sae with me for some reason. "Well i'm stuck on the formula right now, I can't seem to get it right. It'll work out soon I just know it." My favorite thing to do other than spend time with my sister and friends was work on medical care. It wasn't much but Shinobu seemed to take a lot of interest in it so I decided to do more of it and teach her more about what I do. We spent the rest of our time drinking tea having a normal day. That is until I was summoned for a mission. Us demon slayer never really get days where we can just relax but there are moments like this where I feel complete. I heard Sae was also going on a mission soon. The only difference was it was a special mission from the master, which completely peaked my curiosity but I didn't pry. "Well Sae I better get ready to leave." Sae looked at me with that heart warming smile of hers. "Yes I'll see you when you come back."

The mission finished up quicker than normal. Nothing too crazy just two normal demons. I made my way back to the butterfly mansion hopefully to see Sae before she sets off for her mission. I ran into Kanao on my way, she's looking a lot better since my sister and I rescued her. She became our adopted sister and I couldn't be more happy. We decided to go to the kitchen for a snack but before I could step into the mansion. CAW CAW MISSION FOR KANAE NORTH OF HERE CAW CAW. I was already on my way to another mission. I grabbed a quick snack as Kanao was walking me out and I ran into Sae. She was on her way to her special mission. Even though I just came back i'm off to another. That's how it works almost everyday. I say farewell and good luck to my dear friend. She said she probably won't be back for a while, so we hugged and we were off but I didn't know it would be the last time.
