It had been about a year later of training. The days were long and hot. The boys had managed to accomplish water breathing but Sae however, she was struggling. Water breathing wasn't working for her, she managed to accomplish everything else even keeping her emotions in check. Sadly she couldn't handle the water breathing, it wasn't working for her. This upset her. She felt like she failed Suyoshi, she felt like she failed Ubuyashiki.

She didn't want to send a letter back home. Thinking the worst of what would happen. She sent the letter anyway. After that she went back towards the waterfall to train more and more. Even though she feels defeated she still has a smile on her face. Giyuu stayed with her most days to help, he liked her a lot as a friend or maybe more so he felt the need to help as much as he can.

Sae's Pov

I was waiting patiently for a letter to come. Thinking of what he would say. I wasn't worried well... I guess I am a little worried. Hopefully he can come up with a solution. Even if I can't accomplish water breathing there are still others I can try. "CAW CAW LETTER FOR SAE CAW CAW". I grabbed the letter from Tani. This time I wasn't really eager to open the letter. I slowly open it and began to read.

"My dear child, I'm sorry to hear that you can't handle water breathing. It happens with some demon slayers. Although I am overjoyed that you are training your hardest, even if you feel like giving up. For that I am more than proud of you. I have decided to have you train with other demon slayers. So don't panic I will do what I can to help you. I actually have some who would like to train with you, so whenever you decide to make your way back, they will be waiting for you. Be safe on your travels.

I was relieved, not only was he willing to help me even more, he was proud. I made my way to Urokodaki and informed him I will be leaving. "Of course miss Sae it was a pleasure having you here, i'm sorry I couldn't do more for you". I smiled sadly " No no sir don't worry yourself, I was happy you trained me. I'd like to say my goodbyes to the boys, do you know where they are"? "Yes I believe they are working on the boulder task up the mountain, Tani will show you the way". I bow before walking up giving Urokodaki a hug "Thank you for your help". Urokodaki smiled under his warding mask. "Do well miss Sae".

I walked up the mountain following Tani. It was a long ways away, way further than I thought. We came across an open space between the trees and I see them trying to cut the through the boulders. "Oh my, is this the final task"? The boys heads turn towards me. "Hey Sae! Yes, once we cut through we will be on our way to the final selection". Giyuu informed. "What are you up to Sae"? Sabito asked "Ahh well i'm going home to train with other demon slayers, hopefully I can learn a different breathing style. I just came to say goodbye". I say as I looked at them. Giyuu ran up to sae and hugged her tight, as Sabito was walking up to hug her as well. "we will miss you, I hope you find a breathing style that suits you". Sabito said "Thank you, both of you, I learned a lot from you, I won't forget that". Sabito looked up to me and asked. "Why do you want to become a demon slayer? i've never asked you". I let go of Giyuu and look at them for a moment. "A while ago I would've said for revenge for my parents and closest friend, but now I just want to save people, I don't want what happened to me to happen to anyone else. I wish you both luck, I will miss you both, one day we will see each other again". The boys looked at me with a loving smile.

I was waiting for my kakushi companion to arrive so I can go home. I will miss those boys. I had an amazing time here. I wish I could train with them more but it's for the best. I wonder who I will train with now. The kakushi arrived and we were now on our way back home. I held onto what was once Suyoshi's sword and smiled to myself, his sword is a reminder to keep going. I will do just that, I won't give up.
