The days grew colder, and colder. Sae was slowly becoming more like her old self but something was missing. She was planning on going to see Shinobu, though she couldn't leave her father just yet. She felt that she needs more time with him, every time she sees him she can see the sickness working faster. No one else seems to see what she sees.

From the time Sae arrived at the mansion, she had been practicing her ice breathing, trying to grow stronger but at the rate she's going she's exhausting herself. The masters wife observed her quietly, becoming worried for her. She understands why, well everyone understands why she's so determined to be strong but this isn't the way to go about it.

As Sae was out in the cold practicing the master received a letter, one he didn't expect. After having his wife read it to him due to his poor sight, he took in the information and pondered on it for a moment.
"Amane, would you please tell Sae to accompany me."

"Of course, Master." Amane walked over to Sae calmly, waiting for her to notice.

Sae was in the middle of swinging her sword until she noticed Amane waiting to speak.
"Ah my apologies, what can I do for you?"

"Master would like to see you."

Without another word she walked with Amane back to master. Upon arriving she noticed master had a letter on the table he sat at. Before leaving Amane bowed and announced you have arrived.

"Father you asked for me." The master signaled Sae to sit down. She knew it was a serious matter so she quickly sat down across from him.

"What I am about to tell you might cost you your life but I know you, Sae. Once I tell you, it is up to you, whether you want to act on it or not. Seeing you here hurts me as much as I appreciate you helping out, I want you to be out there saying people, I want you to be my hashira to be the powerful demon slayer I know you are. This letter I have can change your life if you want it to. So Sae will you hear what I have to say?"

Sae looked at him with determination and curiosity. It'll cost her, her life but would it be worth it.

"Yes, i'm ready"

"I've received a letter from Urokodaki, your previous master, he has notified me of a mission Giyuu Tomioka has been on. It involves a boy and his newly demon sister. According to both of them the demon girl has resisted the urge to kill humans. Now, I don't know this to be true but Giyuu and Urokodaki have said it themselves that it's true and they have agreed to commit seppuku if the demon girl kills a human. The boy wishes to work with Urokodaki to become a demon slayer so if you wish to help them on this task, you to would have to commit to the seppuku to repent for being involved. I do not wish for you to do this but if you think you can help, this will change everything."

It was like Sae had woken up, she felt a purposeful urge, something she hasn't felt in a long time. This girl could be the answer they needed, what Sae needed. She thought about it long and hard. Giyuu already agreed to it?! What does this mean?

"Master.... if I take on this task and the demon girl can really resist the urge, she could be the ally we need to defeat Muzan. If that's the case i'll take that chance." Sae said with determination

Ubuyashiki looked proud but sad in that moment. Maybe this will help her he thought.

"So Sae I need to hear that you accept. Accept that in doing this, if the girl does kill a human you must commit seppuku." He said sadly

Sae thought about it, what would sanemi say about this. He would fight her before she can say she accepts, and Genya.... he would understand.
