Eva's POV

The music pulsed through the dance studio, energizing my movements as I practiced the routine. I felt the familiar thrill of dancing wash over me, the beats guiding my body as I lost myself in the rhythm. But as I spun and leaped, I could sense the eyes of my fellow trainees watching, their whispers a low hum in the background.

I tried to shake off the unease, focusing on perfecting my moves, but a lingering feeling of tension hung in the air. I knew some of the girls were envious of my bond with Felix and Chan. It had started as quiet murmurs, but now I could feel the hostility growing.

Just as I finished a sequence, I heard a sharp laugh behind me. I turned to see a group of them standing at the entrance, their expressions twisted with jealousy and disdain. Before I could react, they pushed me hard from behind.

"Oops! Watch where you're going, Eva!" one of them sneered. I stumbled forward and tried to regain my balance, but it was too late. They shoved me again, this time hard enough that I lost my footing and fell into a dimly lit storage room, the door slamming shut behind me.

I scrambled to my feet, but I was quickly surrounded. The lead girl stepped forward, her face a mask of malice. "You think you're so special, don't you? Getting close to Felix and Chan? Newsflash: you don't belong here."

Panic surged through me as I realized they were serious. I tried to push past them, but they blocked my way. "Let me out!" I shouted, my heart racing.

Instead, they advanced, their movements swift and calculated. One girl grabbed my arm, yanking me back, while another landed a hard punch to my stomach. I gasped, the air knocked out of my lungs, and I stumbled backward. "You think you can just take whatever you want? This is what you deserve!" she spat, before they all joined in, their blows raining down.

I fought back, trying to shield myself, but the odds were against me. The pain was overwhelming, sharp and hot, and I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. "Stop!" I cried, but my voice was drowned out by their laughter.

As the beatings continued, I felt the world around me start to fade. My body grew heavier, and just as I felt myself slipping away, I caught a glimpse of a familiar figure stepping into the room. Chan.

I wanted to call out to him, to tell him I needed help, but darkness was creeping in at the edges of my vision. And then, everything went blank.

Chan's POV

I had been finishing up practice when I overheard the girls laughing, their voices laced with malice. It felt off, and a sense of dread washed over me. I could sense something was wrong, especially when I noticed Eva hadn't come back from the dance studio for a while.

Panic gripped me as I hurried down the hallway, following the faint sounds of laughter that turned my stomach. When I reached the storage room, the laughter stopped abruptly. My heart raced as I pushed the door open.
