The next few hours felt like a blur. I barely heard the conversations with the team, the updates from our contacts, the occasional calls from the police. I was too consumed by the one goal: finding Eva.

Each lead that came through seemed to bring us one step closer, but it also made the situation feel more dangerous. We learned that Suho had been using multiple hotels, constantly moving from place to place, making it harder to track him. But with every hotel we found, it felt like a step forward—until we hit a dead end.

By the time night fell again, I was running on fumes. I hadn't eaten, barely slept, and all I could think about was Eva. I thought of her smile, her laugh, the way she would brighten up a room just by walking into it.

But now... all I could picture was her tied up, vulnerable, staring back at the camera in that hotel room. I couldn't lose her. Not again.

I stepped outside the building for a brief moment, needing a breath of fresh air. The cold hit me instantly, sharp and biting, but it helped clear my mind.

I stood there, staring at the city lights, when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out, my heart leaping as I saw the caller ID. It was Chan.

"Felix," Chan's voice came through, tight with urgency. "We've got a lead. One of our contacts found something. There's a hotel on the outskirts of the city—it's not registered under Suho's name, but it fits the pattern. We think she might be there."

My pulse quickened. "I'm on my way."

I didn't even wait for him to finish. I ran back into the studio, grabbing my jacket and heading for the door. Chan was right—this could be it. This could be where Eva was.

I dialed Chan's number again as I hurried down the hallway.

"Meet me there," he said, his voice calm but sharp. "Stay on the phone. We need to coordinate."

"I'm not letting him get away this time," I muttered, my voice barely audible as I stepped into the cold night. "This ends tonight."

As the car sped toward the hotel, my thoughts raced. What if we were too late? What if Suho moved her already? What if...

I shook the thoughts away.

We were close. I could feel it. And I wasn't going to let anything stand in my way.

When I arrived at the hotel, my heart pounded in my chest. The building loomed in front of me, a grim, imposing structure that seemed to mock me as I pulled up. Chan was already there, his car parked nearby. He was scanning the building, his eyes sharp and calculating.

"We're going in," he said, as he walked toward me. "But we need to be careful. Suho will have eyes everywhere."

"I don't care," I snapped, my eyes narrowed with determination. "I'm getting her back."

Chan gave me a long look, his expression unreadable for a moment, but he finally nodded. "Let's go."

We moved swiftly, silent and cautious, entering the hotel through the back. The cold feeling of fear and anticipation settled in my stomach, but it only fueled my drive. Eva was here. I could feel it in my bones.

We reached the room, and with a single motion, Chan knocked on the door. My heart thudded harder with each passing second. Every breath was shallow. Was this it? Was this where Suho had kept her?

The door creaked open.

Felix's POV

The door slammed open, and the sight before me almost shattered me entirely.
