Felix's POV
Three days.
It had been three days since Eva disappeared. Three days of searching, questioning, and feeling the panic rise every time I closed my eyes. The weight of it had been suffocating. I couldn't sit still; every minute felt like an eternity. I kept replaying that moment in my head—the night I'd last seen her, the way her eyes had looked when she left the dorm. I should've gone with her. I should've insisted on being there, but I had no idea. No idea that she'd been taken.
I ran a hand through my hair, the fatigue weighing on me like a thousand-pound stone. I was in the studio now, surrounded by the usual hum of the place, but all I could think about was Eva. I'd barely been able to focus on anything—work, training, or even eating. Every single conversation I'd had with anyone over the past few days had felt like a blur.
The police were involved now, but their progress had been slow. There were no leads, no answers. Just silence. I kept hoping the phone would ring, that they would tell me they'd found her, but it never came.
I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. What if she was scared? What if she was hurt? Every worst-case scenario played over and over in my mind. And I couldn't stop myself from feeling guilty, from thinking that if I had only been there, if I hadn't been so careless, maybe this wouldn't have happened.
But I couldn't change the past. All I could do was keep searching.
The door to the studio creaked open, and I looked up, my heart skipping a beat when I saw Chan standing in the doorway. He was holding his phone in his hand, his expression unreadable.
"Felix," he said quietly, walking in and closing the door behind him. He didn't sit down, but stood there for a long moment, just staring at me.
"Have you heard anything?" I asked, my voice hoarse from the lack of sleep.
Chan shook his head. "I'm sorry. Nothing new. But—" He paused, and I saw the hesitation in his eyes. "There's something I need to show you."
I sat up straighter. "What is it?"
Chan pulled his phone from his pocket and handed it to me. I took it, my hands shaking slightly as I saw the screen. It was a video, and from the timestamp, I could tell it had been taken just a few hours ago.
I pressed play.
The video was shaky at first, the camera bouncing around as if it was being held by someone moving quickly. I saw flashes of what looked like a hotel room—bare walls, a bed with white sheets, and then, a glimpse of Eva.
She was lying on the bed, her hands bound to the posts, her legs spread apart. My heart stopped in my chest as I saw her, so vulnerable and helpless. Her face was pale, eyes wide with fear, but she was trying so hard to stay still. She couldn't speak because of the gag in her mouth, but I could see the desperation in her eyes.
The camera zoomed in on her, and I heard a voice, low and cold. Suho.
"You're mine now, Eva," he said, the words dripping with malice. "You'll learn to behave. You'll learn your place."
My vision blurred with rage. I wanted to throw the phone across the room, to smash everything in my path, but I forced myself to watch. I had to know where she was. I had to find her.
"Where is she?" I choked out, my voice barely a whisper.
Chan sighed heavily. "We don't know exactly. But we're looking. The hotel has been traced to a few locations, but..." He shook his head, his expression hardening. "It's hard to track him. Suho's been smart about this."
I clenched my fists, the anger bubbling up from deep inside me. This wasn't just about Eva anymore. This was about making sure she was safe. Making sure Suho could never hurt her again.
"I'm going to find her," I said, my voice trembling with determination. "No matter what it takes. I'll—"
Chan placed a hand on my shoulder, stopping me. "We're all in this together. We'll find her. But we need to stay calm and think this through. We don't have much time."
I nodded, trying to steady my breathing. My thoughts were spinning out of control, but Chan was right. I needed to stay focused. If I lost it now, I wouldn't be able to help Eva.
"We'll find her," I repeated, more to myself than to Chan. "We have to."
The air in the studio felt thick, the silence almost suffocating after Chan's words. I kept staring at the phone, replaying the video in my head. The image of Eva—helpless, bound, and terrified—would not leave my mind. I couldn't even begin to imagine what she was going through, trapped in that room. The anger I felt for Suho, for taking her from me, from all of us, was consuming.
But I couldn't let it control me.
"Felix, you need to focus," Chan said gently, breaking my spiraling thoughts. He grabbed my arm, pulling me back to the present. "We have to plan this carefully. You can't rush in blindly."
I looked up at him, trying to steady my breathing. "I don't care how we do it. Just tell me where she is. We can figure out the rest later."
"That's exactly why we need to be cautious," Chan replied. "Suho knows we're looking for her now. He won't hesitate to hurt her again if he knows we're close. The last thing we want is to put her in more danger."
I clenched my jaw, forcing myself to swallow the rage that bubbled up. "So what do we do? How do we find her without alerting him?"
Chan exhaled, clearly trying to remain calm for both of us. "We need to get intel. There's a chance someone close to Suho might have information—someone who knows where he's keeping her. We'll use every connection we have, but it's not going to happen overnight."
A sharp pang of frustration twisted in my chest. I wanted to go to her now, wanted to rush in and tear down every wall in my path until I found her. I couldn't sit still. But I knew Chan was right. If I didn't stay focused and methodical, I would risk making everything worse.
"Okay," I said, gritting my teeth. "We start with what we know. I'm calling in every favor, every contact I have. We won't stop until she's safe."
I took a deep breath, trying to channel my fear into something productive. "I'm not leaving her in that hellhole."
Chan gave a small nod of approval. "Good. Let's make a plan."
