Cold Shoulder

Its been a week and I've gotten a little closer to Chris but that's causing problems.Not only am I confused but Fera is colder than ever.He hasn't really been fucking with her since we had sex and she's cranky I guess.But just in this week me and Chris have had sex everyday this week but I started my period today so no more of that for a little bit.I've also been talking to him trying to see if he's crazy or not. Trinity seems happy that I'm talking to Chris and that I'm settling in but the first chance I get I'm leaving.
Chris walks into my room and locks the door.He looks at me smiling and takes off his shirt and starts walking over to me.He pulls me into a kiss before I can tell him.When we pull away he reaches for my skirt but I stop him."We can't have sex today."I say and he frowns."Why not?"    "I'm on my period."I say looking down and he stares at me with a straight face."You lying."He says and I glare at him."Why would I lie Chris,I'm on my fucking period."I say and he puts his shirt back on."Fine Ni."He says angrily and walks out.I could care less cuz its not my fault.A couple minutes later Trinity calls me to watch a movie with her and Chris.I go only cuz I can't say no to Trinity.
We're sitting there watching fucking Matilda and out of nowhere Fera comes out wearing the shortest shorts and tightest shirt she could find.She grins at me and then sits on Chris' lap and starts making out with him.I try ignore them but they basically start fucking right there.After 5 minutes Chris picks her up and they go to her room.
After the movie I make me and Trinity some dinner and while we're eating Fera comes out."Where's my plate?"She asks cheesing and I roll my eyes."You're so full of yourself I thought you wouldn't need anything else."I say smiling and she smiles sarcastically."You're right I am full...of Chris."She says being petty and my smile drops."Don't you get tired of people's leftovers?"I ask her and she smiles."Do you?"She asks and I just get up and take my plate to the sink."Trinity it looks like the slut is upset..maybe cuz Chris got tired of her."She says sitting at the table and Trinity just looks at us concerned."I mean why would he want her when he could have me."She says and I try and ignore her while I wash the dishes."You know what he told me...that she was so easy to get in bed,just cry a few tears and tell her a story and she'll do anything."She says and that hurts a little.I feel tears run down my face cuz now I'm pissed.So everything he told me was just to get me in bed.
"Look at her,one of those girls who pretends to be so perfect but she's just a dumb slut who no one could love especially not Chri--"She says and I slam the plate down and it shatters causing Trinity to jump and Fera to stand up.I grab a piece and point it at her.Out the corner of my eye I see Chris come out of his room."Look you don't know me so stop running your mouth!This whole time you've been blaming me for being here when I don't even want to be!"I yell and I see Chris approaching me."You think if Chris loved you as much as you claim that he would've brought me here?!You weren't enough and you'll never be for Chris or anyone you--"I get cut off by Chris taking the shard out my hand and grabbing my waist.He picks me up with one hand and takes me to this room I've never seen,on the table is a whole bunch of pictures of Chris growing up and his family.When I see one of his mom I pick it up and throw it against the wall.He looks at me crazy and puts me down.
"What the fuck Imani?!"He yells at me and I'm blinded by my tears and anger."So all that shit bout your mom was fake?!"I yell and he looks confused."I told you my mom got in a accident and is in the hospital,why would I lie about that Ni?"He asks and I start to calm down a little."You took advantage of me..I felt sorry for you and you used that against me."I say crying even harder.I hate to admit it but I was starting to grow actual feelings for him.He comes to me and hugs me as I cry into his chest."I didn't lie and I didn't use you.Where is this coming from Ni?"Fera said you told her.I say wiping my eyes and he sucks his teeth."Fera lied to you and I'm tired of her talking all this shit to you."He says."Look."He says sitting us on the bed."I like you alot.You're the only person who knows who I am and actually listens to me.I can be myself around you,I can't even do that around my wife cuz she might leave me.Even who I am with Trinity is fake cuz I just want her to like me.With you its just easy cuz you don't expect things from me."He says and I just listen,he pauses then looks at me and I know what he wants me to say."Chris I can't overlook everything you've done to me but I know that you're not that bad.I like you too maybe that's why I just went crazy."I say and he chuckles a little then kisses me."We're you jealous when I left with Fera?"He asks and I nod slightly."Don't worry I ain't fucking with no other girl here but you from now on."He says and I don't say anything.
"Why don't you let them go then?"I ask after a while."Trinity has no where else to go and Fera would never just leave."He says playing in my hair and I nod."What about your wife?"I ask cautiously but he doesn't answer,instead he asks me a question."What happened between you and your sister?"I sigh."We we're both only children so when our parents got married we we're happy.At first I didn't care we weren't blood cuz we we're that close,but as soon as my parents realized I was advanced they had me take classes so I would graduate early.Ion know why but Jasmine didn't like that and we fell off as soon as soon as I entered highschool.I haven't seen her since graduation."I explain all this and he doesn't say anything.We sit there for a while and we end up sleeping in his room.
