"Aye Imani we gotta talk."Chris says taking my plate to wash.He made me breakfast and offered to clean up so I knew he was up to something."Fine."I say and waddle to the living room.I'm ready for this baby to get out of me to be honest.I sit there and after a while I start drifting off.Being pregnant is a lot of work, I'm always tired.
I wake when I feel Chris sit down and pull me close to him."Let go."I say without opening my eyes."This is why we need to talk,you need to tell me why you left and why you're mad at me."He says and I sigh and try to stand up but he holds me down."Chris Ion wanna talk anymore."I huff and he shakes his head."Not an option."I don't want to tell him what he did he should own up to it.
"Chris stop acting dumb and just own your shit."I say getting mad."I'm not acting Imani Ion know what I did!"I sigh."You cheated on me."I say and my throat starts hurting."With who?!When?!"He asks and I hit his chest."With Mariely!That day that you walked out I called you and heard y'all."I say and he shakes his head."That shit never happened,I never touched that girl Ni."He says and I wanna punch his face in."I heard you!"I yell and he puts his hands up."Ion know what you heard but I'm telling nothing happened between me and Mariely."I grab his face and look into his eyes."Are you telling me the truth?" "Yes and you shouldn't have believed anything Jasmine told you,her and Mariely were planning some shit."He says and I shake my head.Why did I ever trust her?
"Mariely came onto me a couple days after you left and I kicked her ass out."He says and I laugh a little before stopping myself."Really?"I ask sniffing and he smiles pulling me close to him."Yes,you're the only girl I've been with in..."He thinks for a second."9 months?"I smile."It should be 10 going on 11."I say and he laughs."I love you Imani."He says looking at me and I just blink and next thing I know we're kissing.I wanna stop him but I don't and things get heated."Am I hurting you?"He asks looking at my belly and I shake my head."Good."He says leaning in to kiss me again but I stop him this time."We have to stop."I say looking away from him."I know we can't have sex cuz of the baby but I haven't kissed you in a long ass time."He says and I shake my head."No that's not it,we just can't do this Chris." "But we cleared everything up."He says and I nod."I know but Jalen..."I trail off and he sighs."Are you choosing him over me?"He asks sitting back up and I shake my head."No..I just hope you're telling me the truth--" "I am Ni."He says cutting me off."But I can't just cut Jalen off like that."I say looking up at him."But you did that shit to me!"He scoffs and I suck my teeth."For a good reason Chris." "I'm the only reason you need to cut that nigga off."He says and I roll my eyes.
After that we didn't talk that much anymore we just sat there.He put his face in the crook of my neck as I just watched TV.After like 15 minutes he starts kissing my neck.
"Chris."I say trying not to moan.He moves up to jaw and then to the corner of my lips."You can't tell me you don't want me to kiss you."He says and I shake my head which makes him smirk.He kisses me and I just smile onto his lips.
We're kissing until he pulls away and looks at me."I have to go back to LA."He says and I frown and move away from him."You do?"I ask and he nods."I have work Ni,I've been here almost a month."He says and I nod."So when are you coming back?" "I was bout to ask you the same question."He says looking at me."Come back home with me."I bite my lip."I like it here Chris...I don't wanna move back."I tell him and he sighs."So what are we gonna do Ni?I want to be here for you and the baby but I can't move down here."He says and I don't know what to say.
"When are you leaving?"I ask breaking the silence."Hopefully after I convince you to come with me."He says making me laugh and he joins in.After we stop laughing he gets up and I already miss him holding me."Where are you going?"I ask whining reaching for him and he smiles."Come upstairs with me."He says pulling me up and my lips meet his.I love kissing him but I know I'm a feel guilty later.
He leads me up the stairs and into his room,he closes the door behind us...
