"Senior has been too kind to him. I won't let someone like him be desired by others," Li Mudi muttered, now feeling lightheaded.

"Qi Ze, please help me. We've known each other for so long, and I've never asked you for anything. Help me get rid of Zhou Xiaobai and keep him away from Senior."

The voices in the background grew unclear, but the implication was enough to make everyone suspicious.

An Shuting turned off his phone, walked toward Qi Ze, and looked down at him. "I don't think you're that generous. You flirted with Zhou Xiaobai while having someone post those photos to make yourself feel better?"

"Zhou Xiaobai left you, so why are you still thinking about him? Is he just another part of your love game?"

Qi Ze, irritated by An Shuting's tone, snapped, "So what? Who told him to approach me like he didn't know his place?"

An Shuting smiled coldly, "Has he ever said he likes you? Has he ever chased you around? Has he ever impacted your life?"

An Shuting stepped closer, and Qi Ze was left speechless.

"You're only fit to be locked up with your childhood sweetheart. Don't cause trouble for others."

In the classroom, Liu Ning was anxiously waiting for news when the radio crackled with a conversation that sounded like a scene from a TV drama. He froze, staring at the small white box on the classroom wall.

His classmates paused in their work to listen to the explosive news, whispering among themselves.

Liu Ning felt a sense of relief. The broadcast connected all the classrooms, meaning everyone heard the false accusations, and the rumors about Zhou Xiaobai and An Shuting were now exposed.

The principal, unaware of the situation, cleared his throat. "We're here to resolve this. The matter is mostly clear now. You both need to write an apology to Zhou and An and post it in the school for a week. Don't repeat this mistake."

Qi Ze remained silent on the sofa. A public apology was out of the question, but he knew he had no choice but to accept the principal's decision for now, waiting for his parents to arrive.

Li Mudi gritted her teeth, pinched the edge of her clothes, and suddenly knelt in front of the principal. "Please, give me another chance. My parents will kill me."

The principal stepped back, alarmed. "What are you doing? Speak, but don't act like this."

Li Mudi collapsed, tears flowing. "My parents didn't want me to go to high school. They wanted me to work to support my brother's studies."

"I begged them for a long time before they let me come to this school."

She regretted everything. Her jealousy and desires meant nothing compared to losing her education.

Liking him was selfish, but without school, her future would be like her cousin's-a life spent working to support her younger brother, living with relatives after marriage, and being looked down upon by a mother-in-law for not having a son.

Li Mudi's words weighed heavily on everyone present, even An Shuting frowned.

Luo Feng felt distressed seeing her like this. He tried to pull her up but failed. Turning to the principal, he said, "I'll apologize on her behalf. I can post it on the bulletin board or make a public apology. Please give her another chance."

The principal, conflicted, glanced at the notebook in his hand, filled with the shocking, suggestive messages between Li Mudi and Zhou Xiaobai.
