"Azfar, do you want to watch a movie tonight?" Iraj ran to her husband who was about to go upstairs to his bedroom to sleep now.

"I watch a movie everyday, all-day when you're around anyway. I don't need to watch one separately." He shook his head remembering how she had let the glass of water spill over his important construction documents an hour ago.

"All-day movie...?" She stared at him in confusion at first and then gasped when she understood what he meant. "Are you making fun of me?"

"Does it look like I'm laughing? This was a very serious comment Iraj. There's no lie in it." He shook his head again dismissively and moved forwards.

"We can watch a horror movie." She really wanted to have someone next to her for company and was trying not to be left on her own since she had been wanting to watch the scary movie since days but didn't have the bravery to do it alone. And she wanted to spend time with him.

"Now that's funny. You're matching the genre of my daily life too." It was spoken in the most nonchalant manner and he took one step further to take the stairs.

Iraj held his hand, stopping him, "I'll let you pass those taunts in the morning, can you just sit next to me while the movie plays?"

"Iraj, I know this is one of your great time passing hobbies, but I'm honestly not in the mood to have anything other some peace of mind after what you did at the office today."

He mentioned her spraying her perfume too excessively around his client, that it got to his eyes and the man had to leave because of it when she'd visited his office in the afternoon. And then the perfume bottle had slipped from her hands too, breaking on the floor making it unbearable for anyone to breathe in the conference room. Then it had to be evacuated and he had to send all the employees back to work from home for the day.

"I was only trying to make your office smell good. It always smells like raddi ki dukaan." She passed a guilty smile.

"I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." He went walking up the stairs ignoring her big pout of plea.

"I won't do it again Azfar please watch the movie with me." She called from behind but he just didn't even acknowledge her voice now. She stood there staring at the remote in her hand as he left her alone in the hallway feeling like she was the most unwanted person in the world.

His gaze was looming over the head of the woman he loved the most, who was sleeping holding his arm as the memory made tears almost reach his lashes. Then she suddenly moved her head a little and he sniffed back looking on the opposite side.

The internal crackling of Iraj's neck while rotating it to straighten her back made her furrow her brows to focus on the solid object on which her head was lying. Azfar's shoulder. In steady motion she raised her head up completely, pursing her lips with embarrassment as she realized the lights of the cinema hall were now lit up and the entire place was empty except for the two of them left there. Azfar was silent and didn't comment on anything.
