"Are you seriously going to walk like that the whole time now?" Azfar finally spoke after fifteen minutes of silence and trying truly hard to not even chuckle.
Iraj had stormed out of the shop and was walking away on the tracks of the road with her right hand held up straight in the air on her shoulder level with an arm distance constantly between her and Azfar who had been following behind her with an amused expression.
"I hate you." She blurted with her eyes on the road and nostrils flaring up.
"How much?" He pressed his lips together to contain his emotions.
"The most." Another loud huff came.
"Define that." He pushed her more.
"I'll never speak to you, I'll never look at you, I'll never forgive you!" Her arm in the air was slightly shaking as she walked.
"So, that doesn't include not holding hands right?" He took her tiny soft hand in his that was maintaining a tight space between them reaching near his chest.
"It does! It does!" She stopped walking and tugged at her hand to pull it out of his grip but failed.
"No, no. You didn't say that when I asked, so now I'm not letting it go." He passed an assuring smile.
"Go and hold your second wife's hand! I hate you!" Adding more force to her hand she pulled it out of his with much indignant fury.
"Will you really never forgive me?" His mind was now fixed on that statement.
"Never." Folding her arms over her chest she spoke out loud.
"Even if I jump from here?" They were standing near a cliff above the sea. The height was definitely a fifty meters above sea level.
"Don't annoy me like a teenager!" She scrunched her nose in irritation as her lips curved.
"I'm serious." He stared into her eyes.
"I hate you. I am only here because I said six weeks and that's my word. I hate you." Her words made him smile slightly with a sigh.
"So you will never forgive me right?" He wanted to confirm just in case she'd change her mind.
"I'll go far away the moment your trashy weeks are over!" That truly did it for Azfar, anything else in the world would've been acceptable for him but that. He wasn't the kind to react with such craziness but things had changed within his personality, a lot had changed now.
"You'll leave me?" He wanted to see and test it for himself now.
"What is even your problem! Go to your second wife, or whoever is going to be that!" It was becoming a very confusingly annoying matter for her now. Why was he so persistent to not let her leave if he had someone else in his life for whom he'd been shopping all morning?
