Lloyd and Harumi had finished gathering their things as the Benoíts and left the office floor for the elevator. Once inside with the doors closed, two agents at a desk snickered.

"Think it was real?" one, Tox asked.

Jay, too curious for his own self, rose a brow. "What real?" he asked as he had finished up his programming a minute or two ago.

"The sex." the second, Shade, responded.

"Them two? No way, they're barely even friends."

"They're the best to hook up up with," Tox snapped her fingers "you can break up just like that."

"Trust me, she'd know." Shade said as Jay looked over at the elevator's direction with thought, "She's had more girlfriend than bones."
Shade got a hit in the shoulder for that one.

Now, five hours later, the mission was over. But not everything was solved.

What was to happen to the baby?

From the moment the exchange was made, the baby clung to Harumi as if she was her mother. Whether or not she knew, nobody could figure out. But one thing was for certain: the child found comfort within Harumi. She would begin to whimper any moment she couldn't feel Harumi holding her or at least hear her.

Currently, they were back at the agency and Harumi was sat on the sofa with her knees upwards, resting the baby girl against her legs as she held the little one's tiny hand with two fingers.
She kept rocking her legs gently like a boat would sway on the ocean, humming a soft melody to keep the child relaxed.

Harumi didn't really care who saw her like this. To be honest, the thought hadn't even crossed her mind, she was just focused on keeping the baby happy and protected.

Ronin could see that the baby had an affect on her, but it was a pleasant one. He was just concerned what would happen if the child had to be taken away.
In the corner of this cautious father, he noticed Lloyd leaning against a half wall as he smiled at Harumi. It showed a human side of Harumi, almost like she was more free to express.

The baby was old enough to open her eyes, they were a pale blue. She made gentle cooing noises every so often, squeezing Harumi's fingers gently.
The action caused Harumi to smile, making Lloyd smile more.

"Don't get any ideas kid." Lloyd turned on his heel quickly to see Ronin behind him, "She doesn't need to go through romance drama right now."

"What?- No, no! I don't want to do that to her at all.. I just want to be there if she needs help."

Ronin gave a suspicious look before nodding slowly, "Alright.. but you mess with her head, and I'll know."

"I wouldn't doubt it sir." Lloyd said before looking over his shoulder, seeing Harumi now having moved to another sitting position, one where the baby girl could curl against her as opposed to curiously look around.
