CHAPTER 35: IT'S ROSE'S 6TH BIRTHDAY

The next day...I woke up, got out of bed to stretch and ruffle my feathers before getting changed into my school uniform. When I left my room, I noticed Ren coming up to me. "Morning Ren" I said. "Morning Rose" Ren said as the two of us went downstairs and went into the dining area to sit down at the table.

What the didn't notice is that someone put our cups down on the table to pour some apple juice in before the person went back into the kitchen. Then I went into the kitchen. "When's mommy coming home daddy?" I asked. "Why don't you ask her and find out" I heard someone say when I looked at the person. "Mommy!" I said as I went up to her and I was giving her the biggest hug I given her as Ren came in to see who gave the two of us the drink before giving mommy a hug.

After the four of us had our breakfast, all of us were clearing the table. "I'm going to be taking Ren to the agency" daddy said. "Ok lovebird and that will mean I'm taking you to school little chick" mommy said. "Ok mommy" I said. The four of us were outside the house as me and mommy saw daddy taking Ren to the agency. The two of us went up to the car to get in. I was doing my seatbelt as mommy got into the car. "Have you got everything you need little chick?" mommy asked when she turned to look at me. "Yeah, I've got everything mommy" I said as the two of us were leaving the driveway to head to the school.

Once the two of us got to the school, we got out the car and went through the school gates. "Can I play with my friends mommy?" I asked. "Course you can little chick and make sure I see you ok" mommy said. "Ok mommy" I said as I went up to my friends. Then one of my friends went up to mommy and he started to talk to her. I saw him bringing mommy over as she finished talking. "Are you ok little chick?" mommy asked. "Yeah, other than this scrap on my knee" I said as I was showing her the scrap on my knee. "Let me tend to your wound little chick" mommy said as she was tending to my wound. After that, mommy helped me back up.

"Thank you mommy" I said as I was giving her a hug. "Anytime little chick. Do you want to take you inside?" mommy said. "Yeah, you can mommy" I said as mommy picked me up to head inside as Joey followed us. The three of us got to the classroom as mommy put me down so that I can take my coat off before I sit down. "Can I have a word with you Mrs Takami" Mr Crewes said as mommy went over to him to talk about something.

When I left the school after Mr Crewes talked to me about the little chick, I went home to sort some stuff out. After a while, I completed the stuff that I needed to do and then I went into the kitchen to get a drink. Then I noticed Keigo forgot to take his lunch. I decided to bring him his lunch. I left the house, got back into the car and headed towards the agency.

After a while, I arrived at the agency when I got out of the car and went inside. I got into the elevator and started to go up to the floor that he was on. When I got out of the elevator, I was walking down the corridor when I saw Touya coming up to me. "Hey Touya" I said when he looked at me. "Hey Kanan. How's the mission going? Are you here for any special reason?" Touya said. "It's going great. And yeah, I'm here cause it's Rose's birthday tomorrow. Is Keigo in his office at all?" I said. "Yeah, he is. Anyway, I got to put these files away so I see you later" Touya said as he was going to put the files away when I was walking up to the door.

When I got to the door, I opened it and walked into the room. I saw Keigo working on some paperwork when I decided to sneak up on him from behind. "What'cha doing" I said as I made Keigo jump a little from his seat when he looked at me. "Oh hey songbird, I'm doing a couple of paperwork" Keigo said. "Have you forgotten anything?" I asked. "Umm...no" Keigo said as he tilted his head a little. "Are you sure" I said. "Yeah, I'm sure" he said. "You're lucky I brought this then" I said when I showed his his lunch. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that, thanks for getting it for me songbird" Keigo said as he got his lunch from me.
