"Will you be by my side?" I asked. "This will be our business soon," I added. "Of course, I will. Just wait one second," she said, running to her mirror to fix her makeup. Freya already looked good, but she wanted to make sure she looked her best. "Cooper, I told you about messing up my hair," she said. "Oh, darling, you weren't complaining when I was inside," I said, coming up behind her in the mirror. "Perhaps," Freya said, looking into my eyes through the mirror.

"As you all know, I bought this company, so there are going to be some changes around here. Freya is your boss, and you will respect her. She might be nicer," I joked, "but what is mine is ours," I said, looking into her eyes."And also, you're all invited to our wedding." Walking out of the building with my soon-to-be wife, we smiled as the reporters took pictures of us. "Cooper, we already have over 10,000 people attending our wedding. Five hundred more won't hurt," I said, looking at her with a confused expression. "What are you not telling me?" I asked, confused.
You have to promise me that you won't get mad, I say looking into his eyes. "You know I can't do that," he said with a serious expression. "It's Dean, he works with me. He will always make comments to me, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle until he tried to-" I say, my voice cracking. "He tried to what?" he asks calmly, but his tone still came off as cold.
"Dean tried to touch me," I say, with tears in my eyes, not realizing I had been holding my breath until now. He immediately pulls me in for a hug, not overwhelming me with questions. We just sat there in silence until we arrived home."Go get some rest," he says, rubbing my shoulder softly. "I've got some business to take care of," he said, speaking to me so kindly, but his eyes looked evil as hell, looking at me like I was an angel, but I could see the devil through his eyes. Not saying a word, I walked inside the mansion, not wanting to know what he was capable of. "Would you like dinner?" Nelle asks when I come through the door. "I'll wait on Mr. Madden," I say, walking upstairs to our room.
I wish I could understand why men feel the need to make nasty comments about a woman or her body."We can't even be comfortable in our own skin, and when we are, they undress us with their eyes. Now I see why Cooper feels the need to protect me, but I've always been independent and could handle my own.
But it gets to a point in life where I'm just tired." I call the only person that I know will listen. "June," I say her name when she picks up. "Freya, what's wrong?" she asks with a concerned voice. "I need you," I cry.
"I don't give a fuck about Greyson, go find Dean and bring him back in good shape," I say to Milo. "Are you sure, boss?" My brother Milo asks, looking confused. "What he means is we've got it, boss," Enzo says, taking Milo and pushing him out the door. "What the hell do I pay them for?" I say, hitting the punching bag three more times.Waylon just laughs, "Don't you think you're pushing yourself too far?" he asks as sweat drips from my chin. "I'm so mad at myself," I yell, pushing the boxes across the room.
"Cooper, bro, that was out of your control. There's nobody to blame but Dean here," he says, pulling me into a tight hug. Suddenly, I hear my phone ringing. "We got him, boss," I hear Enzo say on the other side of the phone. "Good, how soon will you be back at the warehouse?" I ask. "The way Miguel's driving, less than ten," Milo says with a frightened voice. "He needs a fucking raise," I say with laughter in my voice."Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?" June asks with a hurtful tone in her voice. "Because Cooper made me have an abortion, and when I told him how I felt about everything, I just remember waking up the next morning not remembering how I even felt about it anymore.
And I know I should feel bad about it, but I don't anymore," I say sadly. "If it was your choice, then don't beat yourself up. If he made you do that, then there's something wrong in that situation," June says honestly.
"Then he went somewhere after I told him about Dean. Freya, why are you just telling him about what he tried to do to you?" she asks. "It's not always that easy to just tell your fiancé that one of his coworkers is making you feel uncomfortable, especially not Cooper. June, you don't know him like I do." "And what is that supposed to mean?" she asks.
